Raygun probability

Is the raygun harder to get in Call of the dead than the other maps, because I have been playing almost constantly since the map came out and my team has only had a ray gun 4 times and three of those times was with a firesale.

hmm maybe i've had it most times i've played solo, and almost never with a team...

I've played a few times solo and a few times 2 player splitscreen so far. Get the ray every time, I thought this thread was about it popping up alot, seems otherwise and I may have just been lucky lately. Have yet to see the vr tho.

I have had the Vr, its quite usefull when you shoot a team mate other than that not so much..

The thing is if your playing with less than 4 people then the odds of seeing any given gun goes down. The guns are pretty random but when you have 4 people in the game and 8 guns out there being used then there is a wider variety of weapons seen. Ive even seen 2 people get Rayguns at the same time in 4 player and last night me and a friend both got one out of the box, back to back in 3 player co-op, probably never see that again.

That seems pretty rare, Last night me and my friend both got ray guns at the same time with a firesale, goes without saying it was our best match.

I feel that it's the same, just totally random. The other day in a four player game we got three Ray guns in a row.

I've gotten it once or twice on CotD, but I've gotten it countless times on Ascension. Almost always.

The box hates me when I play multiplayer. I always get balistic knives or snipers, but on single player I normally always get the ray gun, within the first 3 spins of the box.

the ray gun doesn't seem to be much different than any other maps, same with Scavenger and VR-11. I mean sometimes I wouldn't see anything for a while, then I got the Scavenger twice in a row, then nothing, then VR the first time I spun the box. Seems pretty random

Probably just a coincidence, but I wait till the ? is fully lit up gold before opening the box and 8/10 will get one of the better weapons like the raygun out.

I have had the Vr quite a few times, though its not very useful as a weapon. The zombies hardly ever go for the human it creates.
