2 people Private match - Target: 44 rounds(Rank 100) - Estimated Time: 4 hours.

Available from 6pm central time weekdays.

Strategy:

1-5 Build points,Buy MPL, Turn power on, Get Jug

5-15 Buy AK74u, One person outside the light house by ak74u doing figure 8 with George in the center, another person inside lighthouse.

Round 15: both Pack a punch pistol, try and get ray gun or lmg, skip Scavenger because you won't earn much points.

Round 25: scavenger time.

Round 30: Hyena time.

Round 35 +: Once ammo is scarce use Hyena to kill zombies grouped by both players. This is very easy if you camp by the lighthouse location, just need some practice.

Do's:

1. Guy outside Light house takes care of George.

2. Both Players must buy Juggernog,Quick revive,PHD Flopper & stamin up.

3. 10 minutes break allowed each hour.

4. Only revive when you feel safe.

5. Be prepared with your batteries for controller. Must have headset that does not need charging.

6. Upgrade guns ASAP.

7. Get powerups each time. Skipping second max ammo within 5 minutes won't increase your chances of getting max ammos when you need them.

8. Carry Mustang and sally when flying the kite.

Don'ts:

1. Don't worry about killing George.

2. Don't cry for help.

3. Don't use the box every fire sale.

4. Get too close to zombies when you are playing a kite. If George gets mad he shakes the screen so be alert.

When shit hits the fan:

Once your partner is down,DO NOT kill any zombies! This will just cause zombies to jump at you when you are on your way to revive. I wait until ALL zombies on the map are in my sight and slowly following me like a kite, then I make use of my stamin up/quick revive. After reviving escort him to Jug and flopper.

*Speed cola is optional to stamin up.Need for speed cola can be overcome by Pack a punching weapons early like Ray gun has small clip and very slow reload, but upgraded one has 40 shots.Also Mustang and sally have good reload speed.

I go up the lighthouse and buy the sickle before power or jug. More points.

If you're with 2 people doing a record run, then your strategy is a bit wonky. Instead, I would get Jugg, quick revive, Stamin-up, and deadshot for both people, then knife george to death every 2 rounds until you have all the perks. This has the additional benefit of leaving both players with a wunderwaffe.

Then both players "kite" (as you call it) near max spawns of zombies, fry them, and repeat. Hitting the box for better guns once you have your first 4 perks is a good way to keep you safe once the zombies are all spawned. I have never run out of ammo with the Waffe, a max always seems to drop before I hit my last magazine.

The 2 spots I would use are the 2nd floor of the lighthouse and the back of the ship (end of the zip line, at the box spawn point). This is because if the person on the ship goes down, zipping down to revive them is easy. If the person in the lighthouse goes down, the horde will go up the lighthouse and zip down, giving a clear path to run in to save the day.

Either way, you can't revive with the Waffe out, so you'd have to discharge all your ammo en route to save the day anyway, so I don't think there will be much in your way.

If you don't want to use the Waffe, or don't like the ship, the area outside the lighthouse is also perfect for PHD flopping if you want to conserve ammo at the later rounds. There are no traps, so getting kills the later you go is going to be tedious without the flopper or wunderwaffe.

But if you're looking for sustainability, I always recommend the Skullcrusher (upgraded M-16). You will make enough points back with it to buy ammo, and it comes with a grenade launcher with 9 grenades. Its too powerful to normally use (I don't know the exact damage, but I'm pretty sure its the most powerful explosion by a decent margin), but with flopper you don't take the explosive damage so that isn't important.

Playing/flying a kite means grouping all zombies until you are ready to kill them.This method can save ammo in later rounds.

Good not just for conserving ammo, but it keeps the zombies in one place, giving you more room to move around.

Private matches do count. But there are cases where new record did not register on leader boards regardless of private or not.I have reported this to Activision. FYI My Round 35 with 2 did not show up on leader boards. But my round 28 with 2 (private) did. 28 was the one where I made more points.

Recently spent a lot of time getting to 48, and my partner had to leave so we had to call it at that. We both downed ourselves. The high scores saved, but the leaderboard scores didn't. Luckily, my previous highest was only 45 anyway so it wasn't all that drastic a difference, but frustrating all the same.

And it will take a lot more than 4 hours to reach 44, killing 300+ zombies with insane amounts of health per round, utilising an AK-74u (when you inevitably run out of ammo) is very time consuming. I'm always looking for someone who'd be willing to play for long enough to go much higher, so I wouldn't mind playing with you during my days off. :)

well once you get past round 25 or so, its insta-killing is very useful. So long as you have a scavenger and raygun whose ammo you can burn, its going to save time in the long run.

Remember when we tried yesterday, it only took me 2 minutes to kill him with the scavenger and ray gun (and a couple death machines). So long as I wasn't stupid when getting myself killed, I would have had the waffe for a long time (especially with you running around, so long as we get a max ammo once in a while, you never run out)

i could play. my GT is: TheX1Delta1. i live in STL so were on the same time zone. im decent at this map never payed it serious just for the eggs. got to round 13 easy w/o perks and completed the egg. never did any looping strategy or teamwork etc. i would love to better my record and have some fun!

It took me and my buddy about 3 hours to get to 35 with few breaks. I will add one more hour to my estiamted time which makes it 5 hours.

But if my strategy is right we don't have to pick and kill zombies after 30 (using regular guns). Just combine both groups and 2 Hyena's must take them out.

But since using wonderweapons will not drop powerups we need to use ray gun and Mustangs to trigger max ammos.

Attemp# 1: Finished at Round 2, Leaderboard set to 2.

Attemp# 2: Finished at Round 4, Leaderboard set to Round 4

Attemp# 3: Finished at Round 6, Leaderboard set to Round 5

Attemp# 4: Finished at Round 10, Leaderboard updated to 10! Good

This is what I was expecting with my old Gamertag MetroSlinky877:

I did the same with my other account.

The name of map is call of the dead not Nazi zombies.Its from the latest map pack "Escalation" from Treyarch.

Incorrect. I have been playing private matches all along and they all counted towards the leader boards. Actually the online lobbies are so messed that after a long wait when we finally see 3 players in the lobby, it says "Migrating hosts" and it kicks us out of the lobby. This is the reason we do private matches because online lobbies are very buggy.

I don't know if the port forwarding solution will work but I will check it out today.

Finally,I am not asking you to reset the levels. But I want you to assure me this won't happen again.

Hi,

Are you trying to play Nazi Zombies in Private Match or in online mode?

Private Matches do not count towards the online leaderboards.

We cannot restore or reset the levels for your matches.

However, in the future, we recommend that you port forward your network and router.

Please open your NAT type or open your ports on your router and forward them to the Xbox 360 console.

In order to get an open NAT Type on your router, perform port forwarding your router to your Xbox 360.

In general, you should do port forwarding for each game that you play to receive a reliable internet connection for the game.

This game uses ports 3074 (UDP/TCP). Additionally Xbox Live requires ports 80, 53 (TCP) and 88, 53 (UDP).

Please forward this port for both UDP and TCP in order to receive Moderate to Open NAT type.

You can check out http://www.portforward.com for further assistance in port forwarding your router or contact the router manufacturer.

Here is a link you can check for your ports if they are open and forwarded to a specific IP Address: http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/ or http://whatsmyip.org/ports/ or http://www.canyouseeme.org/.

Place your specific IP Address for the Xbox 360 in the Remote Address on the page and then the ports in the Port field.

This test will let you know if you did port forwarding correctly.

WHAT IS PORT FORWARDING:

This is how to do port forwarding is in a nutshell:

1) On your Xbox 360 console, go to the Network Settings and setup the static IP address in your connections (Network Settings on the Xbox 360 console).

-Subnet Mask will most likely remain at 255.255.255.0

-DNS masking will usually stay at 0.0.0.0 but depends on your connection type and network.

2) Next, take the MAC address of the Xbox 360 and that static IP address you set up on the console and enter that information into your router software.

3) Then, set the port that the game uses to the static IP address that you have set up for the Xbox 360 console.

4) With this done properly, your game ports will be forwarded to a static IP address on the Xbox 360 console.

5) Now do a power cycle, restart the router, modem and the Xbox 360 and you should receive a steady and balanced internet connection for your gaming console.

I was playing the game online with another friend of mine. It was a private match. Zombie map we were playing was call of the dead (Its from escalation map pack).I don't think it has anything to do with my system cache. This is not the first time I have experienced this. Few of my friends stopped playing after this happened. They are very upset about it and insist me to stop playing this game because there is a bug in the leader boards don't get updated.

To be more detailed, I am guessing my previous record where I made it to 28 rounds had more score than my latest one with highest rounds. I have spent 3-4 hours and I won't be happy if this happens again. Please look in to it.

To clear the System Cache and latest update

1. Go into the XBox Dashboard

2. Select System Settings > Memory

3. Choose the hard drive and Press "Y"

4. Select "Clear System Cache"

5. Go to hard drive

6. Go to Games

7. Delete the file called "Title Update"
