want zomb novels Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 If you have read Max Brooks World War Z, you may understand this better. What if, the zombies won? What if humanity was no longer the most populous species on Earth and on the verge of extinction? Infinity Ward may be back on the reigns of CoD, but if it can't see how much of CoD fans are now hyped on zombies, then they might as well resign from the project. But they have more sense than that, so back to my theory. What if mobs of civilians (players) were retreating or advancing on the hord, through cities, suburbs, and rural area. I liked battlefield's idea of 64 player matches, and screwing the maximum capabilities of a system's hardrive, would love to see it implemented into zombies. Could you imagine the possibilities, the realism, the overall sensation of working cooperatively with a mass to take down the infected menace, or killing both human and zombie to save your own skin? In a few years there may be a system that could handle such amounts of data, but for now I rave without a glimmer of hope for a zombie game such as this. Post your comments on how a massive zombie game like the own described above would work. How would people get weapons? Where would the zombies be coming from (i.e. windows, the ground, from outside the map). How would the storyline fit in? Would there be a real conclusion? I have my own ideas, but i'd like to hear yours.
LMW-YBC Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 Ah, but you see, if Infinity Ward put Zombies into MW3, Treyarch would probably sue them.
want zomb novels Posted May 25, 2011 Author Posted May 25, 2011 Good point, but I've heard a rumor just today that Treyarch is in on the MW3 project, stepping in to specifically build zombie maps. Have you or anyone heard likewise?
thegrix Posted May 26, 2011 Posted May 26, 2011 Ah, but you see, if Infinity Ward put Zombies into MW3, Treyarch would probably sue them. I don't think Activision would let that happen. Not sure where you heard that. The two devs that have been confirmed working on MW3 are Sledgehammer Games and Infinity Ward. (via the trailers) There is a "survival" mode in Spec Ops in MW3. It may be some sort of wave spawn mode, but nothing like Treyarch's zombie mode.
