VR-11 Lazarus question

I saw a video where there were two players and one of them had the lazarus.

the other guy got downed and when the next round began, the player with the lazarus shot him like 4 times and then he ran of to buy juggernaut and stuff.

I know when a player shoots an other player with this gun he will be ignored by zombies for 15 second. but what happends if you shoot a player 4 times in a row? will he be ignored for a whole minute (15x4)? or does it work different?

when you are shot by the lazarus you get instakill. he was probably just giving him extra instakill time to make it to juggernog without any problems.

AFAIK the effects do stack, but as you get shot more, it's similar to standing in water too long; your vision gets redder and redder so eventually it's hard to see.
