COTD solo cutscene

So I know there has been a fair few posts about Michael Rookers magical two sawn off double barrel shotgun that should only hold four shots but somehow holds five, but if you think about it at the start of the cutscene they are actually making a movie and so the rounds are fake or at least should be. Then after the actual zombie battle starts he continues to shoot and kill the zombies, during the cutscene he does check his ammo so perhaps whilst the camera is away he has taken out real slugs/rounds and loaded his shotguns.

One thing though, you put 'at least' 4 shots, which means it can hold 5, as five is more than four :P

What im asking is why does his ammunition kill zombies when its not actually supposed to kill the actors.

I know what blanks are, maybe I have worded this wrong. If the rounds he is firing are blanks how are the blanks killing the real zombies at the end. The only evidence to suggest he changed rounds is that he had the barrel open at one point (I dont know if thats the correct term) possibly to change rounds but you dont see him put them in.

Well he does have the barrel broken just before all the Sh*t goes down, so it's possible, but then why would he have live rounds on him anyway?

Whatever, don't know why they would use REAL weapons like machetes in that movie. I'm just going to go with the whole cutscene doesn't make sense, especially with the 5 shots in 4 barrels.
