Here is a remix I made for the Shangri-La trailer. Enjoy!

This is a remix I dubbed on the Shangri-La trailer. All rights for this video are reserved for Activision and Treyarch. This video footage belongs to them and is in no way my own. I take no credit for the original trailer or the music on this trailer. The music belongs to Guns and Roses. This video was created as a fun alternative with different music than the original trailer released by Activision.

Very nice. That song just gets you pumped up for the map, whereas the treyarch's original song has a certain irony to it. Each song has their own different flavors, but I enjoy both pretty well.

but i'm starting to wonder with the irony with the "In the jungle" song...

i think this is just nonsense, but "In the jungle, the mighty jungle, the Lion sleeps tonight."

maybe this song also is a little tip for something?

maybe they mean those napalm zombies by Lion..

and yes, i know that song is a song from the lion king or something, not too sure about the title of the movie :P but maybe they didn't pick this song just by coincidence.

I'm not really talking about the irony in the lyrics, but just the song as a whole. It's like an old folksy type song that came out like 60 years ago. It's slow paced and kind of a heartening and uplifting song. Kind of the opposite feeling when you're blowing zombies to pieces.

Hell, there is irony in the lyrics right here.

"Near the village the peaceful village

The lion sleeps tonight

Near the village the quiet village

The lion sleeps tonight"

Peaceful village? That's got irony written all over it.
