So did Richtofen steal this new weapon the 31-79 JGb215 From the Room/Lab in Call of the dead, which would make this weapon Russian in origin, as CotD is set in Siberia.

Maybe they came from Shangri-La and thats how they even got an elephant in the first place! Paradise doesn't have to be Shangri-La it could be Area-51 (nicknamed Paradise Ranch I think). A man can dream !

Well Shangri-La is commonly referred to as Paradise, but you never know.

The old revisitation theory involving the classic maps in Black Ops could also come into play, however, meaning that it might not be their first visit to Shangri-La.

EDIT: The elephant could certainly have come from Shangri-La. Asian Elephants exist the the Himilayas according to WWF, and the fictional city of Shangri-La is meant to be set in the Himilayas. It's possible that Shangri-La took place before Call of the Dead and the crew was sent back to Shangri-La from Call of the Dead.

Or maybe supporting my timeline theory, Richtofen took the 31-79 from Shangri La and kept himself a pet. A shrunken elephant lol. And then they get to Ascension and then Call of the Dead where they teleport to Paradise... Ranch!
