Number Symbols on wheels in mud room

Hey guys.

I checked out this number system, it's pretty obvious to decode:

Imho this could give a hint when this temple stuff was build, or it could give a hint to the location of the map. But I cannot identify this number system exactly.

Basically, it's similar to the Roman numbers. Like the basic signs for 1, 5, 10; and then you add everything thats there. Like Roman 17 is X V II, and here it's that C, the |, and the two dots.

The numbers 1 to 9 are equal to the Maya number system:

Maya would actually fit the architecture. Just a quick look an Wiki says they lived in central America, 3000 before to 900 after Christ. Known is also their calendar, is this maybe like the calendar in COTD? I'm totally not informed on that.
