nah it isnt unfortunatly, not avaialable as a wall gun or from the box.

It's in the Super Secret gun room, next to the AK-47, Stoner, DG-2, PPSH-41, and MG-42

whats with the hate on the M16 ? that is a great gun. good power with a fair amount of ammo. and the Skullcrusher is just awesome. full auto with a very good amount of damage and a lot of ammo. and add deadshot in to the mix u got a head shot machine.

but do not get me wrong i love the MP40 (my fav off the wall gun) and i have no idea why Treyarch would BRING IT BACK in call of the dead and than TAKE IT WAY in Shangri La. if we are lucky they will bring it back in map pack 4 or at least put it in MR.box for us. or how about has a reward in the next big easter egg they give EVERYBODY PaPed MP40 as a 3ed gun with 115000 ammo. i think that would be sweet.

i think once Treyarch figures out that we like a certain gun or weapon they take it away from us so that they can give it back to us in some type of easter egg. for example when we got are waffles back on call of the dead every one was all like OMFG BBQ WALL HACKS THEY GAVE US A WAFFLE. and when they gave us the MP40 every one was like OMFG BBQ WALL HACKS THEY GAVE US THE MP40 SUPER LOLZZZZZZZZZZZZ. and when they gave us back are original heros every one was all like: OMFG BBQ WALLS HACKS SUPER TACO EPIC LOLZZZZZ FACE Dempsey AND Richtofen AND Nickolai AND Takeo ARE BACK BABY.

they will probably re-add the MP40 in map pack 4 so we will be all like: OMFG BBQ WALL HACKS THEY GAVE US BACK THE MP40 AGAIN NOW WE CAN GO PET COWS AND RIDE A PIG TO VICTORY WITH ARE SUPER EXTRA AWESOME LOLZZZZZZZZ FACE ON.

I think they took it away because of its popularity.

I think on COTD most people would buy the MP40 and then get Jugg and not really bother with the other wall guns unless out of ammo. (This is what I and every one I played with did, so I'm making a bit of a generalisation here.)

I think they removed it to make people use other guns more, and vary the gameplay a bit.

M16 useless? You obviously are not smart enough to comprehend why its so close to the sickle/Bowie in almost every level. Its hands down my fav combo atm especially in Shang Ri La. .... I always buy the bowie first in any map and pair it with a m16. Burst, knife, burst, knife, works all the way till the high teens.

IMHO the pm63 is useless... Besides if you think of it the wall guns are not balanced. They give you the same choices with one always being the better of the two. M16 is a toss up since its the only gun of its type on the map. We need a stoner to pair the m16 but keep it with a low clip size high power rate.

I just don't agree with the semi-automatic thing. If they had made it full auto considering military m16's have full auto, then yeah i would use it. but i dont agree with semi auto. just not my thing.

they took it out because it was unbalanced. It just had too much ammo, too powerful, and too much more useful than the other wall guns, so its the only one anyone uses. I don't really mind it gone, even though I use it in every map that its availible.

The AK74u is my next choice for this map, but its a bit over-rated overall; it has a tiny ammo capacity both clip wise and total.

I also don't get the M16 hate on Shangri-La. If you have the focusing stone, the Skullcrusher is an absolute monster: high fire rate with headshots thanks to deadshot and doubletap, very powerful grenade launcher with no splash thanks to flopper, and basically infinite ammo since its a wall gun. There is nothing not to like.

It was a reliable gun for a while, almost as reliable as the Thompson in my opinion. Maybe we will see this smg return. Maybe....
