Question about MG42 and Browning

My friend keeps on telling me that the MG42 Pack a punched and the Browning pack a punched used to have 250 shots a clip but was changed. And I hadn't had the game from early on enough to know.

Is this true or not?

I am 100% sure that is false. I'm pretty sure that the MG42 and Browning both have 125 bullets a clip/magazine upgraded when Der Reise first came out.
