Changes?

Can someone just give me a quick rundown of the changes from World at War to Black Ops? Ive played the heck out of those old maps and I'm wondering if all the old stuff is still there.

The new maps have a different knifing system so you don't have that millisecond of slowdown. Cold War-era weapons are available from the box, but you can still buy a number of WWII weapons off the walls. You can also get the Thunder Gun in NDU and the Winter's Howl in Verruckt. There's a hidden song on NDU and some radios in SNN. The Fly Trap from Der Riese is still intact.

- Monkey Bomb and Carpenter are in all of them (Was only originally in Der Riese).

- SNN contains a radio explaining how they got from DR to Kino.

- The Fly Trap still works, yes, but the bear holding the Bowie Knife in the building seen from the Spawn area is missing and cannot be gotten. The Monkey Bomb in the furnace and the Bear holding a Perk-a-cola are in the cage are still there though. This means 2 can only be found instead of 3.

- Beauty of Annihilation and I think The One are glitchy. They end earlier than they should.

- Zombies hit through windows in NdU.

And the obvious ones not listed already.

- Play as Dempsey, Nikolai, Takeo and Richtofen in NdU and Verruckt.

- Demonic Announcer says the power up in NdU.

- It's called Verruckt instead of Zombie Verruckt, but it comes up as Zombie Verruckt when seeing someone playing it.

And Quick Revive has a use in Solo now :)

He is still there, but invisible. Just shoot the window.

Is it? Why would they make it invisible. Hopefully they'll fix it when Rezurrection comes out.

nope, but another new thing is when you p-a-p a gun off the wall it gets golden camo

nope only the beloved DG-2 gets golden

all other wall guns are more chrome

I'm pretty sure it was never in SNN, but I don't have WaW anymore so I can't check.

You misunderstood for the Verruckt one. When playing it, it will come up as Call of Duty Black Ops Zombies: Zombie Verruckt. It's called Verruckt in Black Ops, but retains its original name when viewing someone play it, Zombie Verruckt. :)
