Maybe mule kick doesn't give you three guns?

What if some powerups drops are weapons (like the spas 12 drop in the video), and getting that weapon automatically puts it in the third slot? maybe mule kick is something entirely different..

You get the weapon drop when you buy Mule Kick. So tits or gtfo.

EDIT: actually, im not so sure about that. I just rechecked the video, and if you look, he buys mule kick in round 9? (cant quite make it out) , and he doesnt get the spas 12 drop unitl round 11...that seems a little fishy.

good eyes, but i dont know maybe he got the perk but he got downed and he bought it again in wave 11 and then gets the spas..
