Question about the wire spawn(s)

Soooo, the other day me and a couple of friends tried Big Bang Theory. We got all the way up until you put the Vril Generator in the computer. We could not find the wire for the life of us. We spent, I kid you not, 3 hours looking for it in the lab and all across the map. Anyone else have this problem? I mean, we definitely didn't pass over it. We held "x" on EVERYTHING. :S

If you don't grab the wire by round 9ish, it's gone. Grabbing the wire is the 1st step, get it right after turning the power on.

and it can spawn in loads of places. i've found it on the floor of the server rooms, in dark little corners, under the tables where you get the hacker and even outside by the barrels on the way to AK74.

Not true. I have gotten the wire after round 9 when power was on. While we were doing Cryogenic Slumber party when you fill the tube. Around round 12.
