At the side of every post there is an icon. A lightbulb means it's stickied but what does a paragraph with a star mean?

I need to know this because I have a post with this. It is good?

I'm pretty sure it means it's a 'hot topic' i.e. a thread with a load of posts in a short amount of time.

Hmmm...

I don't think it is because it been on for 1-3 months got 300 odd views and 10 posts. About 4 of them are mine replying to people/asking people. If is it the short period of time is actually very long.

If there is a paragraph that means that there are lots of replies

If there is a moving paragraph that means that there has been a lot of replies in a short amount of time

On any topic if there is a small asterisk (*) in the top right of the icon, you have posted on that topic before.
