Has anyone gotten a perk bottle from the launch pads yet?

I'm sure you've all seen it, but at times there is a power up that flashes around the launch pads, and at the very last second, it changes to a perk bottle.

Has anyone been able to get it? Is there a pattern to when the power ups appear, or is it all random?

I am yet to ever see the perk bottle floating by one of the pads. But then again I'm not usually looking up all that often. YoteSlaya proved it's possible, but I'm yet to see anyone ever get it.

I'm almost sure I saw one. I spent a while in the dome and saw a double spawn, it changed to an instikill then a fire sale. I tried to get that but I dissapeared, but a new , very small power up. It may have been a carpenter, but looked more like a bottle. Only stayed for bout half a sec though.

I've been trying to keep my eyes on the lookout for one. Haven't seen one yet.

Although several times I have mistaken the carpenter hammer for a bottle :roll:

the map has been out on xbox for almost 2 months now, judging on past experience, if the perk bottle was able to be gotten, it would have been gotten by now... I personally haven't ever seena nything that resembles one in the biodome

Can you get free perks from throwing a QED near a perk machine?

I've been wondering if it's possible to get a free perk by hacking a red perk bottle from the QED? Seems like a logical solution to getting a free perk on this map...

I've already tried hacking basically every other powerup drop in the game including red Z-Points, and weapon drops (normal and PaP'd) from the QED. Nothing happens; You can't hack them.

Nope. But if you throw the QED within 15 feet (4.5 meters) of a Perk Machine there is an increased change of it PaP-ing your current weapon.

Notice how it says "include_powerup( "free_perk" );"

I think that indicates that it is possible to obtain a free perk. We just haven't figured it out.

It also says that you can't hack the Bonus Points Team, Lose Points Team, Bonus Points Player, and Random Weapon Power-ups. All other power-ups can be hacked.
