Oh and MMX when you think Alcatraz because you said you didn't really know how bad it was there and all. Let me just tell you, you might think some prisons were bad but this this place was a literal Hell. They literally meant it when they said "No one leaves Alive" the place was known to be that bad and that unclean. This wasn't a wildwest prison or something like that this prison was known for torture. Electric chair torture, experiments (always denied despite thousand of people who stated otherwise), gaurds killing, killings that just happened such as the Yellow Eyed Ghost that the inmates stated was in the Solitary Confinement cell that was a literal pitch black room with no window in the door. One guy was found strangled to death in that room and after autopsy it was discovered he didn't strangle himself. The night before though that prisoner was screaming that the yellow eyed man was trying to kill him. This wasn't the first prisoner to die in that same room too in such a circumstance. Alcatraz is known as the one place that if ghosts do wander this earth that be where you'd find them. Most men would never EVER want to spend a night in that prison even to this day due to how it was and how many much has occurred there in terms of Paranormal activity and deaths.

BTW the guys name is Brutus to get that achievement you merely cant let him see you when he does his walk around theres a video up showing it popping case closed.

Thanks. Zelkova, as far as I've seen when playing, this guy always runs straight for you immediately just like any other zombie. How are you supposed to go without him seeing you?

(Although Tac, are you sure it is 1934?)

I'll quote two sources.

The United States Disciplinary Barracks on Alcatraz was acquired by the United States Department of Justice on October 12, 1933, and the island became a Federal Bureau of Prisons federal prison in August 1934. Alcatraz was designed to hold prisoners who continuously caused trouble at other federal prisons. At 9:40 am in the morning of August 11, 1934, the first batch of 137 prisoners arrived at Alcatraz, arriving by railroad from the United States Penitentiary in Leavenworth, Kansas at Santa Venetia, California, before being escorted to Alcatraz, handcuffed in high security coaches and guarded by some 60 special FBI agents, U.S. Marshals and railway security officials. Most of the prisoners were notorious bank robbers and murderers.

In 1934, Alcatraz was fortified into a high-security federal penitentiary designed to hold the most dangerous prisoners in the U.S. penal system, especially those with a penchant for escape attempts. The first shipment of civilian prisoners arrived on August 11, 1934. Later that month, more shiploads arrived ...

Thanks Tac.

You can collect 4 skulls that are hidden around the map with the Tomahawk. It's part of the sidequest I assume.

Well the outbreak had to occur sometime after 1934, because it had to be after the prisoners were admitted. The map play-through has to be before 1937, because the bridge would be completed at that time. The outbreak had to happen before the map itself. Therefore, the outbreak and map happened between 1934 and 1937.

I would believe that if there was a Zombie outbreak that work would cease on the Bridge's completion. Zombies spawn on the bridge so they would be capable of killing the workers there.

Btw, we have an achievement that mentions Brutus. People think this is the boss zombie. However, if that is true, then how can there be two of him that spawn at once??? Hm???

He can teleport also. I had him disappear when he was next to me & appear near someone else. Or have you had 2 in the same area as you?

(At work ATM, I shall reply later tonight)

The zombie outbreak I think was confined to Alcatraz Island. It was only later it spread to the Golden Gate Bridge. And we have no choice but to assume it was eradicated eventually so that they could complete it in history.

Yes, I've had multiple of these guys attacking me at the same time.

He is referring to when me and him were holding out on the Golden Gate Bridge we were going for the achiev to survive Round 15 or higher on the bridge and round 14 2 of Brutus's spawned in and round 15 3 of them spawned in they spawned in same time too. I think this was merely to make the survival harder though for us. Sadly we died round 15 because someone who had a Death Machine waited to use it :P jking. We were merely having issues as apparently you get no drops except the one that would drop from Brutus from time to time which is always a double points. We didn't try it but there were 4 electric chairs there on the bridge and I mentioned that we were to get in them that's how the cycle would be restarted.

Lol. Hey! The Meat Machine holds a lot of ammo. We were all firing; mine just lasted longer!

Thankyou, I did not know you can get multiple Brutis' :D

Using the electric chair just respawns you on the island.

And MMX was stingy with his Death Machine.

Well I didn't want to waste the ammo. I was the only one with a gun left!

I've heard "Al" mentioned a bunch. But "Arthur" was only mentioned once in one of the trailers. (I checked.) I think they might've messed up. Perhaps his name is actually Albert?

Oh please I was still firing with my Ray Gun when you finally started using your Meat Grinder. I had to revive the guys few times since they were surrounded and finally I went down while I was reviving someone got them up in the last second but our big friend managed to strike me down immediately afterwards. :P

Seems the full Easter Egg has been finished with a video and showing how to break the cycle and it ends with going white screen and saying "And the Cycle Continues" despite the Pop goes the Weasel achievement pops up.

There are transmissions in this map but its a droppable like perk drop and its a pair of headsets. So does it run out like any other drop meaning if you don't grab it within certain amount of time I have no clue.

So apparently they've found the date of the map exactly?

New Years Eve, 1933, according to the radios or whatever from Fergusson's POV. So December 31, 1933?

EDIT: I'm skeptic on the date, makes no sense

1. The map is set pre-'40's.

2. The Perks and Pack-A-Punch (not Electric Cherry) are temporarily displaced, which is why they... behave... strange.

3. Satan/Devil is in charge of the Zombies.

4. The Beast is Fluffy.

5. Satan is torturing the mobsters, as a way of making them suffer purgatory.

6. Satan is bringing them back, similar to how Richtofen would bring them back.

7. Afterlife is a fiction created by Satan.

8. Every time they are brought back, the mobsters don't remember it.*

I highly doubt the beast is Fluffy BTW. Maxis doesn't even attempt the teleporting experiments with the dogs until Der Riese (which is in the 40's). If this predates the 40's, which it does, then it's not fluffy. If you ask me, a lot of what just happened at Alcatraz is the source of Maxis' inspiration. He becomes eager to duplicate these supernatural occurrences through science with 115 as his source of power. Think about it, these beasts come through a hellish portal. Why would Maxis be so eager to attempt this multiple times on just the pups? I don't think the fact they just didn't want to risk a human subject is the main reason Maxis used dogs.

Also, that would explain the random Fireworks.

Does zombies ever make any sense though? And yeah MMX you still want that video.

Lol yes and no. But they say that it's that date because Fergusson says it, but that makes no sense, he can't document the date of the map if we killed him and he turned into a Zombie.

But we've wondered where Fluffy is all this time. The answer is that she teleported not in space but in TIME. Btw, most of the stuff you are attributing to Maxis is actually more attributable to Richtofen. Pretty much the only things Maxis created himself were the Ray Gun and 31-79 JGb215. Richtofen made a lot of the other stuff, including zombies.

Guys false in his post btw MMX not all that is required for the EE.

How do you know?

Fergusson? I'm pretty sure it is Ferguson. But like I said, I'd have to listen to those files before I'll believe what someone says by word of mouth.

Those recordings are from different time line.

In the map itself we relive that date (New Years Eve 1933) for what ever reason. Until Arlington kills the others and escapes. You see we change the history that was told on the recordings.

Hmm... So originally, we kill him and are executed for it in 1944. But then we go back in time to New Years Eve, 1933, to keep him alive and have him kill us?

Yeah but the Achievement pops if you kill Arlington Pop goes the Weasel which states break the cycle. Meaning killing him is breaking the cycle. Your saying let Arlington kill you to break the cycle but that's the opposite of how people have been getting the achievement thus far.

Yeah, but I made typo the execution was taken place in 1934 not 44.

this shows they killed Arlington and the achievement popped for them for breaking the cycle.

Yes they killed him and it says CYCLE CONTINUES... but if Arlington kills the others it will say THE CYCLE IS BROKEN

So what happens to Al after he kills the other three? And any idea why we're repeating till Al does that? I mean...why him?

I haven't heard any radios or anything so I'm not really up to date on this maps story.

Ok thanks for the clarification. I'm still trying to understand this date. So we killed Al on Dec 31, 1933, during this exact escape, and Ferguson lived to tell about it. So was there only Zombies in this re-creation of the event?

Yes, I'm sure that the zombies were only after this thing started the cycle/loop.

Because he was guard for years after this escape plan failed and the prisoners were executed.

Found this sure someone else mentioned it too:

INSTITUTION RULES AND REGULATIONS, U.S. PENITENTIARY ALCATRAZ

Well still speaking of time, how would Fluffy been teleported at all if Maxis and Richtofen didn't even try the teleportation experiments on the pups till the 40's? The evidence is quite clear that this is BEFORE Sam, before the Der Riese outbreak. None of that even happened yet.
