Personally, i think the new killstreaks are fine. The average players can use assault, the not so good players can use support, and the realy good players can use specialist.

In other COD titles, if you weren't a good player you'd hardly ever get a killstreak, maybe a UAV and a carepackage. On MW3, these players can use the support chain. And i dont understand all the moaning about them because seriously, do the support rewards actually do much good?

Airdrop trap for example, whos stupid enough to even risk it?

Recon drone, only blinds you and paints you on the radar, no biggy.

SAM turret, most games its destroyed within seconds of it being deployed.

Ballistic vests, dont increase your health by that much.

Remote sentry, the same with the SAM turret, its barely used and is probably only useful on objective based games (Demolition, Domination) but i find support isnt realy used on there as its easier to get killstreaks on those game modes.

However, I think stealth bomber shouldn't be here. If they wanted to put something that actually kills the enemy apart from the remote sentry, they should've included a motar team or something, and bring back Harriers for Assault!. You get like 1-5 stealth bombers a game, and its such a good weapon and its used to much.

Stealth bombers only average about 2 or 3 kills. If you are smart you can look up in the sky and run away from where it will be. I think it is fair as it takes 14 kills to get. That means in tdm you will only get 1 or 2. Getting 5 stealth bombers as you said would take 70 kills, and how often do you see people getting 70 kills with support anyways? They are not nearly good enough to be put into the assault section because it isn't worth that number of kills for you only getting 2-3 kills in return.

An idea I've always liked is that support can have the same assault abilities, but they require TWICE (or possibly more ) as much to gain.

My earlier paragraph is a way to stop the steal bomber and emp spamming!

And I've played all CoD titles (someone was asking, not sure if it was at me ) and by all CoD titles I don't mean just CoD 4 onwards!

LOL Hardcore MW2 players thats funny. MW2's MP is the most unbalanced, glitched, hacked trash to ever grace a COD title. You could tell MW2 was being made by people who DGAF.

People are mad about the support packages because the L33T aren't the only ones getting high level packages anymore therefore thay don't feel as special or dominant anymore.

Don't believe me? Check every post complaining about support strikes it always mentions how unworthy the people who use support are of being COD players, like they are on lower level. They say crap like oh it's for 8 years olds now or it's only put in there to appeal for casuals or shitty players. I's just insulting

And of course I'l get attacked a called a noob player and whatever, but I've been playing COD since "finest hour" and have been playing their MP since COD3.

And yes I do use support package when I play KC or TDM because I'm not an idiot, and I can see the advantage in using that strike package in a game mode where you will die often and without warning.

I lol'd at the thought of a Hardcore MW2 player when that is easily the most expoitable, hackable and unbalanced COD MP ever.

Thats like calling yourself a hardcore cinefile when the film you compare to all others is the Green Lantern or Hangover. (I like Hangover BTW, but would never mention it in the same sentence as Platoon or Godfather if you get the meaning).

No I didn't mean your idiot for using assault class. I apologize if that's how you took it.

I meant that if you are playing on one of those game modes and you keep getting killed before you get a worthwhile streak, but refuse to use support because it's "cheating" or "cheap" and then bemoan the support packages because they're OP, well then yes that is pretty Derp, Derp.

However if you're like my son and can utilize the assault/specialist on those game modes then more power to you and I don't really see what the problem is. (He uses sniper class and doesn't play the objective only focuses on K/D, but it works for him)

To get back on topic... I don't even own MW3 and I'm already bored of it. I play with my friend on PS3 about twice a week for an hour or 2, so glad I didn't go out and buy it as I would have wasted my money.

Not saying it's a bad game by any stretch, it's more the fact that I find multiplayer boring and mindnumbing. Survival mode seemed like something fresh fresh at first but soon that became the same old typical 'point and shoot, point and shoot, point and shoot' shooter gameplay. Roll on next 3ARC/zombies game!

Nope, United offensive expansion of CoD1 had a system where the highest level player (you all start at lv1 each game, then gain promotions through kills, which reset to zero at the end of a game/round) Each rank gave you extra equipment, "perks" (aka scavenger, bandolier, juggernaught, stopping power style enhancements) and killstreaks, but they helped the whole team and didnt count towards anything for you, no xp or kills show up, and you dont gain any kills or xp on your profile. But they helped you win, that was the reason to get them, if the enemy get gunned down, its good right?

I haven't had a prob with 2 and 3 though. I do dislike the Reaper and the XM though...

I don't know if it's just in my country (Puerto Rico), but every time I join a game it's full of puertoricans. As for the killstreaks, the only ones that are good are the predator missile and the pave low, nothing else. The others are not worth the kills they require

i.e. They give you 14 shots with the reaper, but you barely can fire 6 before the time runs out. The osprey gunner barely gives you kills, and with the assault drone takes too many bullets to kill someone.

Overall the game is pretty decent with a good campaign, spec ops and multiplayer, but I don't like killing someone and that someone spawning behind me, getting a high killstreak and barely get kills, and only playing with people of my own country.

There dosent have to be a total of 70+ kills to get 5 stealth bombers in a game, when you can get points by capturing flags, destroying killstreaks, killing people and doing the objective in the game. And if you play domination/demolition you will find that there are quite alot of stealth bombers per game. You can also get lots of kills with them if you place them correctly, like in the enemy spawn or over an objective. Oh and also, i didn't mean just the enemy team. 2 teams put together usually get between 1-5+ stealth bombers per game, thats what i was saying.

In TDM or KC you probably dont get as many, however i dont play those game modes.

Just now I captured base B on that French map (good naming the maps ) and I was killed, along with others, by a guy camping in the building opposite, so we spawn behind him... and knife him and three other campers.

Seems I'm not the only one, apparent figures of the reception of MW3 have dropped massively, so have ratings, reviewer are rating it 3/10 now, claiming after you play it it is just MW2.

Um.. your looking at user reviews and yes those have been pretty negative, but at the same time they are also very biased towards BF3 as many of these 1 and 2 reviews were out before the game was. As a matter of fact IGN wrote an article about the skewed user reviews and fanboyism.

IGN actually gave the game a 9 and called it editor's choice

I'm not trying to troll you but the misinformation about this game and the Haters are starting to annoy me. (not calling you one). Why on earth would you go on to website and give a game you have never played a 1 and call it the worst game ever made lol.

Personally I would give MW3 an 8 and BF3 about the same. I think the game has it's problems and 3ARC will now be considered the "A" team, but a 1 really. That's BS just as it would be for BF3 to get a 1
