My der riese strategy.

Hey guys this is Dragon and i'm going to tell you my solo/co-op strategy. This works for both black ops and Waw der riese . At the start of the game just play like you normally do, but DO NOT open the treach gun way. And some of my steps are choices so they will have a -1 or -2 step one.

Step one-1

Do not leave the first room till dogs round, you have 3000 points, round 4-5, or if you start to get over run just buy the Kar 98 off the wall and aim for the heads, you'll easliy make your 200 points (that you payed for the Kar) back. And do not leave the room till it's a dog round or round 4-5(by then you should have 3000 or more points, if you get max use your pistol to get more points per kill and switch back to kar if it gets crazy)

Step one-2 open the doors too the thompson room and buy that gun and go kill the rest of the zombies. If you start to get over run. (normally you should have enough points to open the doors and get Thompson when you start to get over run)

Step two When its a dogs round make your way to the thompson and buy it to deal with the dogs or the box or even both (if you got the money) and turn the power on so people who have the money can go get their jug during a dog round since zombies won't spwan by jug.

Step three get jug and bettys, jug you should know why already, the bettys you'll need them later for the strategy. (but go ahead and use the bettys cause you'll get two more for every round and max ammo anyways/if you still have one Betty in the waw version you'll get one more for that round)

step 4 trade your Kar 98 (if you have one or any weapon you don't want but keep the thompson so u can get points) for a box weapon. (In black ops I prefer to get the famas in early rounds cause to me it feels like ppsh just weaker but get more money. Mid rounds grill, commando, Aug, the LMG's, monkeys and wonder weapons.)

(Waw version I prefer ppsh, Mg42, mp 40, treachgun, ray gun, waffe and monkeys)

In both version's you must have one of the 3 wonder weapons I'll explain why in a later step.

Step five.

Get speed cola (quick revive and double tap if you want) and make as much money as you can. (so training using wall guns or box money makers)

Step six

When its the 3rd round try to link all of the teleporters before killing all of the hounds. And open every door way possible EXPECT the treachgun stairway to jug.

When done kill the rest of the dogs.

Step seven

Remember how i said you need the betty's? well now is the time to use them. Go to the shotgun stair way in the hall leading to jug but don't buy/open the stair way to jug, instead place your bettys down on the stairs and go back down in the hallway and kill the zombies coming for you. (be warn there are two windows next to you so check them every chance you get and kill any zombie breaking it down and repair the windows (another reason why i told you to get speed cola).

You'll need one teammate with the waffe and raygun (not so sure about ray gun cause I had both when I did this yesterday) maybe even monkeys cause there's less chances of him going down. His job is to watch the windows with his ray gun and kill any zombie that tries to break through and repair windows. This is important so zombies won't come in from behind and if he sees 10+/a mob of zombies and see's his team mates are reloading he'll shoot them with his waffe and goes back to windows so they can have time to reload for the next mob.

The other three players must have a LMG or a ASR with a very big ammo count. And ray gun as back up. And two people of the team must have monkeys

(prefer the waffe person to be one of them to have monkeys cause he's not in much danger with window/watcher duty since he'll be watching the windows and making sure the team is safe when reloading or to much zombies and save them ammo.)

Because the three gunners will be doing most of the killing they will have the most money. At the start of each round when zombies start to spawn have one of them active the electric shock barriers to conserve ammo.

If you see max ammo throw monkeys (hopefully you have one still) or get the waffe guy to shoot at the zombies while someone runs for it(remember to pull out your ray gun or lightest weapon you have so you can run faster so unless you assigned someone that job for max ammo do not have two LMG's) And if you see someone running for it already just stay back and help him out by killing zombies right behind him.

If you have a crawler at the end of a round and its a high round like mid 20's+ Don't bother teleporting, have someone watch the crawler (remember let the crawler hit you once in a while so it won't kill it self) and go for the box throw your ray gun in for any gun and try to get it again (I don't know why but 70% of the time I throw a ray gun into the box it comes back to me in the next spin not sure if this is a glitch or not, same happens to other weapons expect the waffe/thundergun ect mainly cause I not trying that unless I'm out of pap ammo and it's not dogs next round.)

Random tips

Nukes. When in high rounds get them fast if you get it you're safe in black ops cause the zombies will only stand in your way and stare at you, but in waw the zombies will attack you without mercy so have teammates watching with their ray guns ready to save you.

If you don't have waffe but want to save a teammate get double tap and ray gun you see a teammate running for a powerup or about to get in a conner with zombies pull it out and shoot at your teammate area. It could save your teammate without having the waffe person destroy a zombies that could be holding a powerup

When you get the ray gun do not pap it right away use the ammo for it first then you can pap. Same with waffe expect do it when you have three bullets left cause those bullets is not enough.

Remember when the last dog round was cause If you teleport for max ammo kill the last zombie only to get a dog round that's money you wasted.

(Applies to Waw only) If the waffe guy hits him self make a crawler then have him down himself. Someone revive him so he can get his perks back cause he just lost jug if he zapped himself.

Waw players randoms are better than black ops randoms, why I say that cause when black ops players with no mic try to stay with me they die a lot.

But when I played with waw randoms yesterday NO ONE had a mic/talking and we manage to do this and get to round 30 (shocked my self and dog b**** slapped me plus other two guys left and the last one alive had only 6000 points so he can't teleport much.)

This is just my opinion though so don't hate.

I'll find ways to improve this strategy and I know I'm not done forgetting something but can't remember and I can make changes to some of this. If you guys want to modify this strategy go ahead :D hope I helped some people get to higher levels.

P.s I forgot to explain the solo part of it I'll update this later this week peace:)

Yeah, no, maybe. I don't know. Can you repeat the question?

Change the poll? I will once I find out how

Never mind found it. And let me know what you think:D

Post if this helped or if you guys found any flaws. And improvements.

I can see it working, but camping on the catwalk in the STG room works a lot better than camping in the Trench Gun room - not only do you only have to watch the front of you, there's also a drop-off on either side of you in case you need to bail out when overrun.

I also wouldn't rely on the same strategy for playing both solo and co-op on this map, on Black Ops zombies in general you don't wanna be camping on solo when you don't need to be, running a loop of some sort is the key to high rounds in solo. Same for co-op really, but unlike solo, camping is still a viable option in a co-op game. I also see no benefit in staying in the first room past round 3 in solo play, much better off getting out of the first room when overrun on round 3 and clearing up with the Thompson before moving down to the power-switch area. This will pretty much guarantee you getting Jugg by the end of round 4.

Only other suggestion is that it'd probably be easier to understand if the steps were round-based, moving on at a certain round/when you have a certain amount of points is always a good thing to include in your strategy to make it more reliable.

Hope I could be of help, not trying to knock your effort in any way, just some friendly advice from my personal experiences from a map that I know like the back of my own hand ;) a pretty well written guide overall, nice work [brains]

Lol thx super I'll admit this was rushed but I'll edit/revise it later. And on solo you have a point but the solo works for me better when I'm playing waw (cause you only have one life) once it hit round 35 maybe I will open the stair way and start doing the teleporter strategy That's what I do normally. So that way the teleporter last longer cause I think you know about what happens to them when used a lot. This would stop me from teleporting till I'm forced out. Thx for the advice and I'll make some changes in a few days :D
