Wow.

I saw you posting in another thread how this was 90 something pages long, and thought it was an exaggeration. Jolteon is now a bit red in the face... If thats possible :?

This, my friend, is frankly one of the best posts I have seen in all my time at CoDz. You, and all the people involved, well frankly you should get medals for this, because it is absolutely flawless.

However, since I don't have any medals, I will give you a curteous nod before bowing down to you. As Pokemon league champion, and the strongest Pokemon in existence, I bow down knowing that you are still my superior.

Congratulations

It also depends on who you ask. Someone like me for example, would say that Dead Ops is the easiest map. Someone who has played it only once or twice will also say it's the easiest map. Someone like Aegis who has been to 41, or people around those levels, will say that Dead Ops is the hardest map. And then you can go into the maps within the map and talk about what's hardest. :lol:

I'd still say NDU is the hardest map, but what makes it so hard is that skills gained on any other map have no application.

Excluding Dead Ops (which is zombies but is so different it's in it's own category) NDU is by far and away the hardest zombie map. It's the only map I haven't been to at least 40 on (hell I haven't even been to 30). I've been to 30 on Kino with no perks but there is so much more space. If you can get to even 30 solo on NDU you are a pretty damn fine player.

Posted

Yeah there's no denying Dead Ops is hard and fun, but it's a completely different game with completely different tactics so I wouldn't count it as a zombies map personally.

If there were traps and perks on Nacht that'd make it a lot easier, there's actually enough pretty effective kiting areas for 4 players, but since they're so small it's really though to do with no Jugg.

Eye, the zombie count spreadsheet is too small when you click. You should probably update it with the following instead. This is most valuable resource if people are going for solo runs or even co-op high rounds. I think you should update this section if you get a chance and underline it.

This one was created by me to estimate horde count that helped me get get to a high round on ascension.

*Thanks for the mention :D . You should credit DuckCall00 instead of me in the authors. I did not write anything :)

Definitely gonna use these stats for my current project. Props for pointing it out to us and of course DuckCall pulling through with stats again, I'll be sure to credit him.

I'm doing a run on Kino atm, these stats start to become a little inaccurate at round 50+. Not sure if it was just a generalised formula or tested on Ascension, not sure if there are a different amount of zombies in Ascension compared to Kino.

Ahh! After updating my Manual I noticed I had 13 brains, I came over here to see how many the MZG got for comparison purposes, and it has 13.5 :shock: How do you even get a half a brain, and more importantly, why does that half a brain have to keep the MZG higher in brain total than mine? :lol:

Posted

Well, if you want to be technical about it :lol: you got a brain on a reply for the Manual, so that's 14, and I got 2 from replies here, which gives me 15.5 :P

Half a brain is given if a user only has 5 posts and no reputation. ;)

Posted

I also have one. From a user with zero posts? That's how it works. Think about it like this: a user with zero posts and no brains doesn't get any reputation power because what reputation is earned from a user who has none?

Posted

Ahh, alright. I suppose that makes sense. Too bad it does not work in reverse with users having insane post and brain counts giving 100 brains with every click of the green button :lol:

Hey, I mentioned this before, but I just wanted to say it again, not to be bugging you, but because I think you may have overlooked it.

Your Zombie formulas are incorrect. I know that you just got the from Duck, but I figured that you might want correct information. I've told Duck that they are wrong, but he has not responded.

You say that at Round 100 with 4-players, there should 3555 Zombies, but there are actually 5423.

First of all, there can only be 24 Zombies in play at one time. This is fixed; it never changes.

But I painstakingly played the game, with 1, 2, 3, and 4-players, counting how many Zombies I killed. AND I DID NOT USE A SINGLE TRAP OR NUKE, because those don't affect your kill count. So, every Zombie that I killed I made sure was affected by the kill count. Then I played the Round and subtracted the total Zombies so I got the exact amount of Zombies per Round.

The problem is that your formulas aren't steep enough. They overestimate at the beginning and then underestimate later on.

The correct formulas are:

Z1=0.09x2+0.0081x+23.388

Z2=0.1798x2+0.0232x+23.214

Z3=0.3599x2+0.0205x+23.213

Z4=0.5398x2+0.0242x+23.187

And they are accurate up to Round 100. I'm not sure how to make you believe me over him unless you were to play it yourself and count, finding mine to be correct.

Thanks man. I'm not sure what to do with the formula. I'll add it in with Duck's. Thank you, and good luck with your guide.

DuckCall's stats are indeed incorrect, I discovered this when I was carrying out a zombie count on a solo game on Kino up until round 85.

I'd like to test these formulas, but are these just for 4 players or any?

Just having a little bit of difficulty making head-and-tail of it - if they would work for solo, what formula would I use to work out how many zombies should be on round 80?

I have a question about duckcall's stats, if i am on round 35+ and a power up is about to drop, can it? his formula says that if i take the round number - 15 * 5 and that number is bigger than a random number 0-99 then nothing will drop.... which means past 35, nothing should ever drpp because that number will always be higher.... right?

What's up man? It's pretty obvious you're a vet here if you're calling me Eye ;)

Finally glad to see another lurker make an account. I'm glad that I helped you!

Yeah, i have been stalking the forums for a while.... i just never took the time to make an account. This guide (and superhands', of course) made me, so thanks!

This guide was released only less than 6 months ago, kinda shocking how outdated the 'About the main authors' section has become in such a short amount of time :shock:

Mine has gone from

Superhands (Great Britain): insane solo player, several 60+ maps, master strategist, 298 kills on No Man’s Land.

to

Superhands (Great Britain): insane solo player, several 100+ maps and a world record of 115 on FIVE, 60+ co-op, master of No Man's Land with 361 kills and 330 on the telepad, master strategist.

Of course! I must update this. Now the authors are all super qualified.

See what I did there? ;)

And would you mind specifying from what part from America are some of the authors? Are you guys from Colombia, Mexico, Canada, or the United States?
