I think there should be a mix of normal Zombie survival maps, and Zombie spec ops style missions.

IE: A mission where you need to escort civillians, etc. Perks could be gained through certain points of the mission, and new weapons as well.

Just some thoughts.

If you want Spec Ops play Spec Ops.

I don't want normal spec-ops, I just think it could expand the idea of Zombies if they did a sort of merge. It could be easily used to add Characters, storyline, etc. to the Zombie universe, all while keeping the zombie theme.

Also this, I just have so many ideas for the next game!

So I originally intended this to be 20 rounds and just a cool idea as a reply to the Mid-round vs. Between round Bosses thread. I ended up going farther than I originally intended and came up with an entire game mode, which is awesom IMHO. The details for the game mode are below

Name: Boss Battle Insanity

(round-description)

1- 10 zombies with low health and walk slowly

2- 10 Nova crawlers, low health and walk slowly

3- 10 dogs, spawning 3 at a time

4- 10 monkeys, coming 3 at a time.

5- 10 shriekers, coming 3 at a time medium health and speed

6- 30 zombies, low health and medium speed

7- 3 astronaut zombies, move slowly, high health

8- 3 Napalm zombies, slow with high health and coming all at once

9- 10 sprinter zombies, medium-low health with high speed

10- George Romero

11- 30 Nova crawlers, medium health and speed

12- Pentagon thief

13- New zombie type- called miners- they can go underground to get to you but can only kill you above ground. You can also see the path they are taking underground. They have the same health as a normal zombie. 3 come on this round, one at a time.

14- 3 engineer zombies. They have a slow speed at first but after they take a lot of damage they are fast. High health

15- Cosmic silverback, slow with very high health. Jumps in the air and lands where you are standing when he takes off.

16- 30 normal zombies, medium-high health and speed.

17- 30 Nova crawlers, medium health and speed, they now teleport

18- 10 dogs, spawning all at once with medium health

19- 10 monkeys coming all at once, medium health and speed.

20- 10 shriekers coming all at once, medium health and very high speed.

21- 30 zombies with high health and speed.

22- 3 astrounaut zombies, medium speed and high health.

23- 3 napalm zombies, very high health and high speed, coming one at a time.

24- 15 sprinter zombies, medium-high health and very high speed- they run as fast as you

25- George Romero, always enraged with high health.

26- 30 nova crawlers, with medium health and high speed

27- 2 pentagon thieves, faster than before

28- 4 miners with medium health and speed

29- 6 engineers, very high health

30- Cosmic Silverback, now boosts at you like in Dead Ops, very very high health and medium-low speed.

31- 30 zombies, high health and speed.

32- 30 crawlers, high health and speed.

33- 20 dogs, spawning all at once, high speed and health

34- 20 monkeys, spawning all at once, with high health and medium speed

35- 15 Shriekers, with very high speed and high health

39- 10 sprinter zombies, with high health and extreme speed (faster than you can run)

50- 2 cosmic silverbacks, medium speed and insane health. They sometimes boost underground only to pop up to kill you.

51-100 is the same but way more intense (I know it's hard to imagine it being any harder)

So I originally intended this to be 20 rounds and just a cool idea. I ended up going farther because zombies is endless right? So I developed an entire game mode, the details of it are below.

- Playable on any map

- You start off with 5000 points and have as long as you want to prepare for it. When you are ready you hit the power switch.

- All guns and perks are available besides the baby gun and vr-11. You can buy perks before the power is turned on.

- PaP is also available, but is open for use whenever you need it, like ascension.

- All Wonder weapons besides the ray gun, winter's howl, and scavenger do not damage these types of zombies: Astronaut, George Romero, Pentagon Thief, Cosmic Silverback. They are 2 hit kills on monkeys and Engineers, and a one hit on anything else.

- No tactical grenades are available

- Semtex, Claymores, and Bowie knife can be bought off the wall.

- When the silverback hits you, it counts as 3 hits from a zombie. This means you go down in one hit without jugg and 2 with jugg.

- Power ups dropped are 2x points, carpenter, and fire sale. You only get other power ups for killing special bosses. George drops a perk bottle, the Pentagon Thief drops a Bonfire sale, Killing all the astronaut zombies rewards you with max ammo. Killing the silverback gives you a max ammo, perk bottle, and a bonfire sale. There are no nukes in this game mode because of the small amount of zombies each round

- Round 15 would be considered average

- Round 30 would be a very impressive wave

- Round 50 would be legendary.

Why doesn't Treyarch just make zombies like NDU and Verruckt with JUST zombies. The last three maps were HORRENDOUS. And why is that? George, Napalm/Shrieker, and astronaut. That's not what call of duty zombies is about. It's about being in a place with no way out with endless rounds of ZOMBIES kind of like NDU and Verruckt. And bring back the Nazism of the maps.

This I agree with. I loved the WaW maps, the most recent just aren't as good. Playing Kino again I like it, I even enjoy Five and Ascension but the other maps took zombies down path to orientated by sci-fi. I liked the balance between horror and sci-fi but it seems to have shifted to more of a sci-fi story. I love science fiction but you need to get the balance right. Dead Space did it with its necromorphs, so why not the zombie mode. Ok they are different but you see my point.

Yes! Kino is a very good map (crawlers are stupid though). Ascension was pretty good I'll say. After that it just became ridiculous. Almost laughable. I liked how the old maps had those radios and it was kind of like a shady Nazi thing that was going on.

I think that, at best, 3arc should have a special zombie round every 4/5 rounds that didn't steal perks, steal weapons, teleport around the map, etc. but made the game more fun and challenging at the same time, without feeling like a gimmick.

Also, at the end of the round a Max Ammo should be dropped.

Just my thoughts.

Bingo. Thought I'd get a lot of hate but glad I found people who agree with me. Dogs were the only boss round that I found that well with zombies. The rest, ehh! I wish the developers would sit down and only play NDU through Kino over and over again and forget about adding gimmicks to the next new map. Go in with that mindset that they had before. Like Verruckt was actually a pretty creepy map. The new ones? Like I said laughable.

Old Maps = Psycho (creepy as hell)

New Maps = Drag me to hell (funny horror that you don't take seriously)

Here's a little something I've wanted since Der Riese.

PRO PERKS.

Think about it. You buy a perk, you complete a specific challenge for that perk, once it's completed, you see a small star above the perk symbol. You then go back to the perk machine, buy the perk again, and then that small star above the perk moves down and changes the symbol to the pro perk symbol, the star shaped one like in multiplayer.

The challenges could be:

Juggernog - Kill 250 zombies

Speed Cola - Reload 125 times

Quick Revive - (Multiplayer) Revive 10 Team-mates (Solo) Survive 10 rounds without going down (Can only be achieved after round 6)

Double Tap - Fire 2 Magazines into enemies without missing (Can only be achieved with automatic/3 round burst, bullet firing weapons.)

Stamin-up - Sprint 2 Miles Total

Deadshot Daiquiri - Get 100 headshots

Mule Kick - get 75 kills with each weapon

PhD Flopper - Get 50 kills using the perk

Then of course, all pro perks have a new effect. For example:

Juggernog - Survive 1 extra hit

Speed Cola - Switch weapons faster

Quick Revive - (Multiplayer) The player you revive keeps all pro perks for one down. (Solo) You keep all pro perks one down, but you lose quick revive completely.

Double Tap - You don't need to prime Grenades or special grenades, but if you ant to cook a grenade, you can still hold down the button. Eg, you instantly throw the monkey bomb, and you don't pull the pin on the grenade, but you can still cook it.

Stamin-Up - Unlimited sprint

Deadshot Daiquiri - Less Recoil on all weapons

Mule Kick - Hold one extra weapon, 2 extra grenades and one extra special grenade. And, if you lose the perk, you lose the gun with the lowest damage.

PhD Flopper - Larger blast radius and more damage.

I still haven't decided wether or not the perk should cost more, but I think that if you go down with the pro perk, you lose the pro effect, but not the perk. Pro perks would make the monkeys that steal perks less annoying as well, as they could only take the pro perk.

Special Stamina Cyrcle whitch give you Special zombie,monkeys,dogs,crawlers,comands for certain time.

I'm intruiged by this, what do you mean, you control the special zombies?

Hey, My first post. I love the Zombies and it has been the sole reason I am still playing blackops on a regular basis. I was talking about this with a friend and we both feel that it would be sweet if you could customize your zombies meaning you could put them on easy and just have more and more each round without running or whatever. Of course the game would just continue to go on but they could make this happen without being able to post to the leaderboard. Just like combat training. There should be something similar if you just want to pack a punch different guns and have fun without really having to try anything too serious. Just a suggestion but I would think this would be a great idea.

I've been saying this for years! So good to meet someone who agrees, I've always wanted to have a Dawn of the Dead style event where I cutomise it so they stay at lv5 strength and don't run :) This plus the ability for friends to join these modes at any round, and AI allies to keep you company that drop in friends replace..

Hello everybody, this is my first post! Anyway i love zombies! :!: i have a couple of suggestions but they've probably been said already;

1. Host migration

2. Solo leaderboards

3. Ranking system, BUT VERY BASIC, no customizing classes etc, that would ruin zombies. Just titles and emblems, no advantage to other players.

4. At least 2 zombie maps in a map pack would b amazing :shock:

5. pack a punch twice

6. More things to spend money on in higher rounds

7. Something that could enable mathmaking wit people that are using mics!

Keep zombies classic and fun please with more weapons and maybe perks :D

one of the most useful ones i can think of would be a ratio....

revives to downs ratio. or even better downs per game ratio. this would make it easier to identify which players are the best at the main point of zombies... surviving.

rounds survived is helpful, but how many of those were the weak link 20 downs player who really just rode coattails to the high round

to clarify this wouldn't be a leaderboard stat, just a stat visible in the lobby so you can see what type of players you really about to get into a game with

thank you and I wouldn't be completely opposed to it being a leaderboard stat, EXCEPT so many people in multiplayer in attempt to keep their K/d or whatever will alter their play simply to pad the statistic. I wouldn't want it to be something that would change the way people try to play, just a more honest indication of a players overall skill level

I would find a stat tracker involving how many doors they have opened would come in handy as well. Lets me know if I'm playing with a team player. Nice idea.

I'd like something like this. It's a great idea.

I think zombies needs to become more about survival rather than dodging the zombies, i love making trains but it does take away the survival aspect.

I would really like a small challenging zombie map. I'm not saying i don't like huge maps like Shi No Numa or COTD but I would like to have a map that is really tight and making it hard to train zombies, maybe an underground map (France Catacombs?) that takes you one way.

Maybe having the zombies spawn infront of you really giving the zombies the survival aspect it deserves.

I'd also like zombies to start becoming more reliant on luck rather than skill. As i've said in previous posts:

I also would like a Black Box, let me explain:

Whenever you hit the box, there will always be a chance of you hitting the black box, this will turn the box black and replace the ? with :evil: Then whatever the box lands on you will automatically take it and it will replace the weapon with the highest bullets in them. the higher the round the more likely this will happen meaning the box can be your best friend or your worst nightmare.

It will also change back if you hold square/X, you will spend 1500 to change it back to the normal box and not turn in Black Box for another 2 rounds

This would be another way to make you spend more on higher rounds, possibly raising the cost of this (to change it back) to something like 3000.

I also liked Verruckt where it seperated the players meaning you had to work on your own (aswell as someone else), maybe incorporating this into a future zombie map.

I would also like the box to have some more rubbish weapons, making it even harder to get the weapons you want.

aright some ideas i just want to throw out there

for the levels here's some basic ideas

1. a desert level sandstorms would happen randomly with low viability zombie coyotes,

2. a level that takes place in a ruined skyscraper maybe have all the players start off in separate floors, include grappling hooks, elevator shaft where you can climb up or down.

3. on board a huge ship in the middle of a storm

weapon ideas

1.a gun that shoots out a net maybe add electricity or where the net constricts on the zombies slicing them up

2. a 6 barreled grenade launcher different types of grenades similar to resident evil 5 called the devastator

3. gun that shoots out spikes sticks them to walls

4. more melee weapons machete, spear,chainsaw but you have to buy gas for it

perks

1.mimicry lets you pose as a zombie for 20 seconds and then it charges, so if you get cornered it lets you escape

2.ammoclip doubles your reserve ammo for all guns

3.adrenaline lets you kinda slow down time

other ideas

1.equipment machine lets you buy scopes attachments just more things

2.pack a punch twice

3.upgrade the perks

4.a drop called frenzy all the zombies start killing each other

5. each character has there own unique moves or special

6.lets you share points ammo weapons

I'd personally like to see cinamatics like in Five and Call of the Dead, but with the original crew.

A FINAL round. Like round 100 or something, where you actually are able to WIN. Or like the PC mods where there's a certain amount of points you need to open a 50,000 point door to end the game.

Be able to pack a punch more than once.

Maybe a zombie mode where if you get bit, you turn into a zombie and have to attack your former team mates.

New weapons (obviously) but the return of former weapons. Like the MG42, the Wunderwaffe, PPSH, Commando, Galil, Wave Gun, Shrink Ray, Monkeys, Gersch's, etc.

An actual zombie graveyard map would be sweet. Like a re-creation of a cult zombie movie from the 80's. Not like CotD, but more like a Return of the Living Dead style theme.

Maybe since zombies aren't real and we know it's fiction, let's have a new character (or characters) that have some sort of magic or special abilites.

A Pack a Punch for perks.

I could go on and on, but I guess this will do for now. COME ON NOVEMBER!!!!!!! Seriously, October and November are the only months I want to hurry up and get here. The Walking Dead season 3 will be in October, and obviously November is B02 time. Zombies Zombies Zombies!!!

Yeah maybe have like a helicopter, where people can get on and you can only use it once every like 2 or 3 round for 2000 dollars, and itll take you across the map and you can shootdown on the hordes for like 20 or 30 seconds and then it brings you back down on another airfield or beach across the map, like the "gateway to hell"/ quarantine map that never was

Do not care what they do with zombies unless a ranking system is in it! I need an actually meaning to play it rather than fight my way through rounds of Zombies just to start again.

I have MUCH hopes for this game when it comes to zombies. I believe Black Opps delivered very well when it came to zombies. However there is always room for improvement or changes. Here is some of my thoughts that i would love to see in Call Of Duty Black Opps 2/ eclisp

- ON the TOP of my list would be a SOLO LEADERBOARDS! I play much solo and would love to see my score against other people

- I would love to see maps that show base storys for other caracters such as Nikoli as of a Carpantor, and Tokoy must zombie veterens such as me still dont know who he really is and how he has to do with the story

-I would love to see way more weapons in the box and different affects after PaP. Such as different attachments or even a whole new gun.

- Zombie counter would be amazing.

- I mostly play on my Ps3 but as of WaW i still play on my pc for custom zombies it would be nice if we could get a set of mod tools :)

- I would love more zombie maps to start out with and as of the map packs have even more zombie maps

- LASTLY I WOULD LOVE.........MORE OF EVERYTHING GUNS, PERKS, MAPS, EASTER EGGS, TROPHIES/ACHIEVMENT, MORE OF ZOMBIE!!!

In response to the character backstory, it's nice but Treyarch will always be subtle more or less with what it reveals about Tank, Nik, Tak, and Ed. A lot of it will be in radios, terminals or notes, or in quotes.
