Tell me what is your opinion about double tap?

Why would you be running around with no ammo in the wunderwaffe? Thats bad play for a number of reasons.

Yes, one can fire backwards while moving (I usually do), but it is more dangerous than firing forwards (as is recommended by most). The argument is not rendered moot because killing more faster makes the game progress faster, since there is no end point faster rounds mean better games.

Unless you are camping in a corner, there are going to be gaps between bursts of fire. These gaps for maneuvering are when one reloads, but typically speaking one will push off an entire clip`s worth of ammo before making one of these gaps regardless.

Keep in mind that I am not tarnishing the usefulness of Speed Cola, only arguing that Double tap is just as useful in most situations.

Don't be dissin' Deadshot, if you have a train built up, instead of taking that extra two seconds to aim for the head, you could just pop straight to the head and not risk taking too much time. It is also very useful for small trains when you don't have a lot of time to shoot. I love deadshot, personally.

Im sorry, I personally see Deadshot as a useless perk, it does nothing that you can't already do. The only thing I like about the perk is the jingle.

And Double Tap, it's not a horrible perk, but it's not a great perk, I don't paticuraly find it all that useful for my playing style, But whateves.

Sorry, I forgot to put a  to show that I was just kidding and didn't mean to start an argument. But I love being able to tap LT and be able to pop straight onto the zombies heads for time's sake.

Ohh, sorry I got a little cranky, but everyone plays diffrently in Zombies, that's the fun part.

But litterally, Ive bought Deadshot 3 times combined in CoTd, SL and Moon since CoTd came out, and usally only get it if I complete the EE on Moon or grab the Focusing Stone on SL or via a RPB

 yes, that's true.

Ummmmm...

Oh yeah!

Being able to kill zombies faster may help your survivability, but...

SCENARIO:

You've just emptied a clip of your weapon, and you get mini-swarmed. The zombies are blocking all exits and the larger horde will be upon you in seconds. You have to reload, then shoot the zombie in the head (Deadshot! ) to get out of there.

Double tap won't help you then, and Speed Cola has saved my life in that scenario multiple times.

This guy's good, anyone want to help me out?

IMO all other perks except juggernaut are un-important in terms of surviving the round.

Double tap on certain guns like ray gun can be used offensively to take out hordes while conserving ammo.

This perk is a must have in maps like kino, moon and DR to shoot those Dogs/Nova gas crawlers that can ruin your trains.

Well you have to hold your horses here. I believe Double-Tap Root Beer is a great Perk, just like I do with other Perks. I just like to stand up for Double-Tap because a lot of people don't. But you have to know your order of Perk importance. For me, it is:

Juggernog

Quick Revive (Solo)

Mule Kick

PhD Flopper

Speed Cola

Stamin-Up

Double-Tap Root Beer

Deadshot Daiquiri

Quick Revive (Multiplayer)

Also, every Perk has a moment where you could die from not having it. So your hypothetical situation is just one of many for all the Perks.

My list of perks completely depends on what guns I'm using. But lets say it is a typical multiplayer game an I'm running an assault rifle/SMG and M&S, my perks go:

Juggernog

PhD Flopper

Speed cola

Deadshot

Double Tap

Quick revive

Stamin-up ( will go higher if I decide to use a heavy weapon)

Mule kick (Yes, I'm a Mule Kick hater, you have no clue how many times it's screwed me...)

Let's say the first monkey round monkeys give me Mule kick. I buy the box and get a gun that I really need for my strategy, say, the crossbow, a very rare gun, or a ballistic knife. Now that my most needed weapon is my third one, if I go down, I loose it. Also, in another scenario, lets say the order of my guns goes AK-74u, AUG, Thunder gun. My AUG runs out of ammo, so I use my 74u. the zombies corner me, I can't pull out my thunder gun, and I get killed.

Someone brought up the Ray/DT combo (think it was in this thread :) ). Just had the opportunity to keep a specific eye on Ray+DT on Moon at Rounds 30-40.

Well it's not to underestimate. When you need 10+ shots to kill a lil' train, it speeds things up, getting a nice sum of time saving over time. As most know, Ray + DT + PHD is also a really good life saver in earlier rounds.

However, you are so fast out of ammo with the ray in 40+, it is still not "the" solution. You'll anyway start to merge trains towards the thunder/wave/etc guy, so it doesn't matter that much if you're ray now works with DT or not. As well for the life saving thing: In the earlier rounds, I will anyway use the M&S as my life saver.

On Moon it was really cool with the Ray/DT combo, since we hacked every drop, so I mostly had ammo. But thinking of for example COTD, your Ray will anyway be out of ammo all the time. So the Ray/DT combo is in general absolutely not relevant.

But in case you play Moon - where you would anyway have done the easter egg at this point - very nice choice to have DT with the Ray.

Those are all problems that can be fixed.

If you go to the Box and get a really good gun but just got Mule Kick, buy the nearest Wall Weapon. There are very few Box points in the entire game not near Wall Weapons.

Also, you should always have the order of your weapons in mind. ALWAYS. From the get go, I always remember which weapon is my first. That way, when I get my second, and then my third, I know which is the third weapon. I always keep my order as "Power Wonder Weapon, Ray Gun, point gun". That way, when you are shooting with your AK74u, pressing one button switches you to your Thundergun.

And it isn't that hard to keep track of your weapons. Just make a mental note of it. This holds true 99% of the time. The other 1% occurs when the game hiccups and jumbles the order of your weapons when you buy a new weapon, but it is pretty rare. I usually just down myself and have a buddy revive me so I can fix my order.

I only really use it on the classic maps or if i'm playing WaW. Otherwise I find it hard not to use my favourite perk combo (Juggernaut, Mule Kick, PHD Flopper and Quick Revive). I do really like it though, on Der Riese and Verruckt especially as there are loads of wall weapons packed closely together and you can keep spraying the ammo.
