The Reason the 31-79 JGB215 Was Made

This is just a short little theory that I wanted to share with you all, but I think it will help some people out and maybe even cause a little discussion. In Shangri-La, we see that 115 is everywhere. In my belief, the Asian people who are there were supposed to mine the Element so that it could be harvested and used. The problem with that is how a person would get the Element back to Der Riese or wherever the intended target is at, so Dr. Maxis created a solution by creating the shrink ray so that they could easily transport it back to a compound for usage. I don't personally believe that they made it so that it could shrink zombies to be kicked

hmm... i was always unsure about maxis being in shangri-la but i suppose he made the 31-79 JGB215 so he must have been there at some point right?

but if he had such a large supply of 115 here he must have found after he requested for more,

do you have any theroys on when or how he was there?

but it does seem the 31-79 JGB215 was used to shrink 115, and since the zombies are affected by 115 they shrink also.

Yeah I definitely think he was there at one point or another. As for when, I honestly don't know. How? Well I believe that Maxis knew about the Moon base because it is listed in the terminal as having 115 on the moon via an astronomical team. From there, maybe he used a teleporter. Or maybe that whole thing can be cut out and they just used a teleporter to get there since the mainframe is right next to the temple. This is all just speculation though.
