Well the first time Richtofen was teleported to the Moon (before any of the outbreaks even started January 1940), he was teleported from Der Riese with the help of Dr. Schuster. When he arrived at Moon, he discovered the pyramid, touched it, and was teleported to a jungle (Shangri-La). So technically Der Riese was there before Ed first entered the pyramid, but not before the events of Der Riese with our gang. Check mine and Tac's timeline thread in my signature for more details.
