Stoopid claymores!!

So here I am playing a split screen game on Ascension. We are on about round 10 or so, we buy claymore to set up on the stairs to Jugg (for the monkeys) and as soon as I set mine my buddy walks in front of them to set his up and....BOOM goes the claymores. WTF!! This is very annoying. I have noticed it does this when Mule kick is availabe ( as for some reason it doesn't always spawn, noticed this with Kino also).

While I don't know what the Claymore problem is, Mule Kick only spawns when you're connnected to your respective network. PSN or XBL.

I noticed this problem only in split screen, where your friend will "step" on a claymore and set it off, but it only happens in some games. Like Tankeo said, you have to be connected to PSN or XBL for mule kick to show up in any map (with the exception of Moon) so maybe they're related. Honestly, I think it's just a glitch though.
