A Prequel Cutscene/Trailer?

A cutscene/trailer that showed the events of Moon, with Richtofen's Grand Scheme and Maxis sending the rockets to earth.

The point of it is to show new players to this CoD what happened in Zombies (if they show everything, not just Moon EE, than that'll be better). If it's used as a trailer, than it could be used to hype up the next game and zombies at the same time.

Since it's a cutscene, they can show way more movements like in the CotD intro. They can also have them speak for the first time while their mouths move, which I'd love to see.

I think that would be quite the epic way to say that its back and reintroduce itself. Intro to noobs. But really, treyarch probably wouldnt summarize the storyline because we are not exactly sure how the maps and their stories fit together

True no matter how many our members are able to fill in gaps and connect everything doesn't exactly mean it's correct although IMO very likely. I wouldn't summerize the story but just see the events unfold on Moon and what they do after that and then how they begin their new mission

I don't think they could summarize the story in a trailer unless they planned on making it like 20 minutes long or something.

Treyarch explicitly said they were going to tell a story with no cutscenes.

They could put a recap video in the zombies menu that people could watch outside of actual gameplay. Kinda like what they did in Dead Space 2 and Gears of War 3, so new players can get caught up.
