blackfire561 Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 it aint a gun, the "noob tube" isnt hollowed out also its just too, differemt, to be a gun My point exactly.
Legend Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 There is almost no chance of it being a form of piping or anything large mainly because of one thing that stands out to me, the screw. Screws are only used for smaller object, I don't believe anyone here myself included) has ever seen a sewer or tubing use a screw that holds them together. So what is seems to be is a smaller object, maybe the SMG on the quadrotor, who knows.

Just not a gun, I have never seen a gun with a gate type looking piece connecting it.

Neither have I, all I am saying that it is most likely a smaller piece of equipment due to the small materials being used.
blackfire561 Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 Somebody on YouTube said something interesting that i completely forgot about. The pictures released could form some type of puzzle connect picture keep that in mine I forgot all about that.
Paterandreas Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 It looks like an artillery piece. Time to scan through some tank/artillery databases I really see what you mean.
Rickety Cricket Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 It looks like an artillery piece. This makes the most sense. It defintely looks like a weapon of sorts.
Daveyjone Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 Every second there are posts, many of the same posts, even more than with GK.. this sites gotten bigger I can see that! :D
blackfire561 Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 Guys tacitusproject.com is linking to this person on youtube now http://www.youtube.com/myoelectric
ccm404e Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 To me, the picture looks like a very odd underslung grenade launcher. I dunno...
LiamFTWinter Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 Guys tacitusproject.com is linking to this person on youtube now http://www.youtube.com/myoelectric Yep, myoelectric, another big zombies community, the domain name is not owned by Activision it's just someone linking to different communities.
BlackOpsTiger Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 I'm not sure what it is, but here is a side by side comparison of a typical grenade launcher attachment and the enhanced photo somebody posted. i don't really have an opinion yet but when I get some extra time later I'll look through some weapons and aircraft or vehicles maybe even buildings that might look like this. And who knows it could be a puzzle to put together.

Yup, I believe its close up of the barrel of artillery/field gun. Because they are usually consisted by the main gun and then that "tube(s)" under it.

Kreepaz Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 the voice from the last picture sounds like macnimara from black ops 1
Gstroy Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 Take it from someone who lives, eats, and breathes guns. That is no portable gun. Artillery, maybe, but not a rifle.

And who knows it could be a puzzle to put together. I kind of agree with this. It looks like a gun with an underslung Grenade Launcher, possibly hung up on some sort of stand. It's also possible that it is some sort of Artillery, I'm not quite sure at this point.
xGunner Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 Looks like something straight out of an oil refinery. Maybe the new game is going to focus on fighting for resources. I did a search for Oil Refinery and Tacitus and and article about censorship was the first result. http://www.thefileroom.org/publication/atkinshistory.html
BlackOpsTiger Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 I don't think it is a hand-held gun. It must be pretty heavy to need a whole rail to support the two barrels. So it could be artillery or a future concept prototype that Treyarch made themselves or they found on some weapon manufacturer's desk --- I'll start looking at future artillery type weapons.
PFCSNAFU Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 It is not a hand held weapon, maybe an artillery piece or a factory of somesort
Whipidhinio Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 To end this "gun" theory. Dispite people saying its not a gun believe me, I still thought well, we don't know the whole storyline or setting so it could be. NO When in the Call of Duty series has someone held a gun left handed? And I hardly think they are going to do it now or that thye have reversed the picture. Its not a gun.
LiamFTWinter Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 What is with the little audio clips stating the quotes? The voice acting isn't any good, and it's just... unusual. I have a feeling we're in for a surprise Tuesday, this whole thing is fishy Seems almost like a person being interviewed, that would explain the bad voice acting.
