Please Explain the Zombie Infection

Well, i remember one day reading some where here on the forums the most accurate explanation for a zmbie infection as in the scientific analysis. I couldn't find it so if someone could link me to that article. Remember it saying that the frontal lobe of the brain is decayed and stuff like that. PLEASE!

i need to prove my friends wrong that it is theoretically possible for a zombie.

The best explanation I can come up with is if a virus is manufactured that decreases reasonable thought process and accelerates the primal instinct (specifically to eat) in the brain, though I don't think they would eat human brains, that was more of a concept concieved by movies and the mass media. The decaying would occur from lack of hygene, since they would no longer longer think about washing themselves and so on. At least, that's what I believe to be the most realistic probablility for zombies.

I found a zombie apocolypse video on youtube. Search for it. Not sure it is accurate but, it gives you a good idea.

Watch that video. Show your friends.

Now, if a strain of Fungi like that were to be developed for humans....

Essentially, it would create a zombie apocalypse.

Now, these are not traditional zombies (I.E. The dead walking), but these are as close as ANYTHING could get to being similar to zombies.

If THAT were to occur somehow, here's how it would fail rather quickly:

http://www.cracked.com/article_18683_7-scientific-reasons-zombie-outbreak-would-fail-quickly.html

And here's an article for how it could succeed:

http://www.cracked.com/article_15643_5-scientific-reasons-zombie-apocalypse-could-actually-happen.html

Note: all of those reasons ARE valid, so I would read up on them if I were you.

That was an interesting article....I read that somewhere some time ago...that fungi thing is weird though. Maybe, could a strain be released, per say, like gas? Nova gas?
