May 1st and 2nd

So, the ad on CoD.com says that BO2 will be revealed on May 1st, but the GameStop poster says May 2nd. At first I was confused by this, but I think I know why now. I think that the reveal on the 1st will be a normal reveal trailer, similar to this one for BO: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T3NQWqL14jc. BUT, I think that on the 2nd we will get an interview trailer like this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HgeK0XXR30A. The reason I think this is because the poster advertises it as "Return for Debriefing", and in this video the developers are DEBRIEFING the details of the game for us, aka rolling out the information. That's just my 2 cents, what do you guys think?

Perhaps, but I think if that were the case they would've just wrote on the poster something "CoD: BO2, available for preorder May 2nd, 2012!", even if they had to wait till after announcement, instead of making it something of a riddle like they did. I mean, why would they want to make a preorder date secretive? That's a lousy business move if you ask me.

I don't think they will release any information on Multiplayer up until August/September/October. They usually only show a singleplayer level at E3 aswell.

This can be backed up by looking at the date that interview was uploaded.

Not nessicarily. With all the word of mouth about on the forums and elsewhere telling about those promotional posters, and of course, the intel being revealed every day, they probably guessed that it would be a smart move.

That, and "Return for Debriefing" is just vague enough to get people paying attention.

And they want to keep people guessing about the exact title until the first of May, that's why.
