About the supposed story mode...

So...how will that work? Will it consist of old zombie maps modified to be played through? Like a linear Nact Der Untoten and Der Riese? If that's the case, that sounds awesome.

I would love to play through all the old maps, and new for that matter, with focus being purely on story. Make it objective based, with no rounds, just a mission of some sorts that you have to perform or complete. I wouldn't even care if it was in all the old maps, I just want to know everything.

And what would be awesome is if that kept all the weapons to be appropriate. Like for example, you had to play through the WaW maps with WaW weapons.

I like this idea but maybe do a recap video before we play so we can just start where we left off in Blops. I like the idea. I just don't know if it will happen.

Cutscenes, linear gameplay, and new story should be expected if BO II has a story mode, which i'm pretty sure it WILL.

I don't think it will have a story mode. The only reason people think it will is because of the "leaked" zombie menu that has been confirmed as a fake.

As a note, that "Leaked" screenshot is fake. the guy who made it has the name "designs" in his channel name, just someone seeing how good their photoshop skills are.

With that being said, a story mode is pretty likely. With several new game modes, why not?

I can see a story mode being quite like Left 4 Dead campaign but without the special infected and all that other BS. Not that that is a bad thing it just means it will be quite linear, and with a story, unlike left 4 dead. Left 4 Dead does have a story but it is more of a side story type thing. Where it is hinted at and not discussed much at all.
