name on paintings in kino

Not sure if this has been noticed yet, but on the paintings of the. Characters, there is. A name. It says Wendee in. Cursive, but my my freind thought it said wendle. What are your thoughts on this?

Wow. I've played for many hours on Kino der Toten but I never noticed the writing in the corner of the paintings. It does say Wendee or Wendle. I have no clue what it's supposed to mean - if it's supposed to mean anything. The map is almost two years old now so there has to be someone on CodZ who noticed it long ago and researched it. Is there a backstory?

I noticed that as well. I thought it said wendle, dont think its a clue though.

I doubt it is a clue, probably just an easter egg about who designed these paintings. Not sure if this is on five, but will check tomorrow.

just checked five's paintings, the name was on them, and i still have to check the credits. Does anyone know if this is in the terminal?

Could not find any credits. Anyone know where i can get alist of people that worked on black ops?

I noticed this before but played it off as nothing as Google yielded me no results and I just believe it's the person who painted the paintings. There is a person named Wim Wenders who quit school in 1966 to be a painter in Paris. Then in 1967 he didn't get accepted and became a cinematographer.

As for the terminal, it is not in there, and from what I can see there is no one named Wendee or Wendle who worked on Black Ops, but I may be wrong.

This is a good find. As much as I want it to be something, I really don't think it is. All in all, great find and I will google some stuff aswell and get back to what I find.
