Pushing the boundaries of what fans have come to expect from the record-setting entertainment franchise, Call of Duty: Black Ops II propels players into a near future, 21st Century Cold War, where technology and weapons have converged to create a new generation of warfare.

Combining incredible high-dynamic range graphics and sensational new gameplay, Black Ops II sets you off on secret operations as Frank Woods – the protagonist from the original Black Ops game.

The non-linear storyline will see you battling during a futuristic Cold War, as well as tackling flashbacks from historical missions and playing as various members of the Mason family. Every decision you make during this story will affect future consequences, giving you a different experience every time you play.

With new futuristic weapons, the chance to master a number of different vehicles and modes of transport, and a mysterious villain - known simply as Raul Menendez - Black Ops II is set to be the ultimate Call of Duty game.

Alongside the epic Campaign and branching story, is the all-new Multiplayer mode. New maps, new game-styles and new perks make this the most engaging Multiplayer yet!

Zombies Mode also makes a comeback with a series of challenging maps and missions that enable you to fight off the dead in even more ways.

surely that means multiple zombie maps? (hopefully more than 2 like BO1)

I'm almost completely sure they mean DLC, such as multiple zombies maps after the release... They confirmed multiple Zombie modes, so I'm pretty sure that's how they described "Multiple ways of fighting the undead." They had confirmed that the first zombie map would be the biggest one they have created, so I don't really creating multiple maps for the first would really even be necessary.

I agree with John. No reason to release multiple zombie maps if they're all going to be the size of an actual city (exaggeration of course). It would be different if they were going to release the same sized zombie maps from WaW and Blops.

Black Ops came with 3, I'm willing to bet BO 2 will come with more. I don't know about you, but I don't want to play these new game modes on one map over and over again for several months.

Think of it this way, would you enjoy playing TDM, Domination, CTF, Search & Destroy, e.t.c. on the same map for several months in a row in MP?

I count Dead Ops as a map. It's still round based and technically never ends. Plus I really loved that map and felt as if it was extremely under-valued.

Of course playing the standard game modes on the same map would be extremely repetitive, but we have to take into consideration the fact that the Map they're creating is going to be the biggest map yet, and is going to feature new, and creative game modes. Also, considering the MP engine is being integrated, there's no doubt in my mind that we'll be seeing tons of various ways to play, and different things to play.

I know it will still always be fun to play because these new game modes will probably be absolutely amazing as Treyarch hasn't let us down yet. Though personally, I don't believe Map size makes that much of a difference. Moon was gigantic but even that got repetitive after awhile.

Now I will admit that this may be in part due to the fact that I'm always doing the same thing on every single one of these maps so maybe by having more game modes available, that will increase the playability of this map. I guess we will just have to wait and see what they have in store for us once the game's released.

Truthfully I don't think MOON was all that big. That's just my personal opinion. I actually believe their are other people who also agree with me that MOON was pretty sane now compared to this new map we'll be getting.
