Mystery Box Glitch?

I was playing on Nacht and got the ray gun. Later, I hit the box and got downed as the weapons were cycling through and it gave me the ray gun when I already had it. Does this mean that if you are downed it puts your weapons back in the box?

Did you have Mule Kick? If you did, and if the Ray Gun was in your third weapon slot, then you would have lost it.

The same thing happened to me on Ascension a couple weeks ago.

I got down when they box was cycling, and got a RPK. Thing is, I already had an RPK (upgraded, not mule kick).

Not sure exactly about your situations, but on moon it is possible to get more than one of the same gun...

first, uprgrade whatever gun you want to get a double of... (prolly Ray Gun)

Have your buddy hit the box with the Hacker, and have him hack it until a Ray Gun pops up, and take it... (he can't have the Ray Gun or it won't pop up)

Also note, you CANNOT, PaP the second Ray Gun, or you will lose it, as you already have a PaP'd Ray Gun
