Medals?

I keep hearing about medals but don't know what they are and how that are awarded. can someone explain t me? and my medal tab on my profile does not work so i want to know what medals are. Thanks! :D

Wait, I thought they were still fixing the medals...Because my tab doesnt work in my UCP and I see Liam and you have em (along with many I'm sure). Do i have to re-request them?

Yes. Unfortunately after the Medals mod was reinstalled, the admins we're unable to recover the data of who had what medals.

I was awarded the Veteran Medal, but my tab is also not working so is there something I need to do to get that or should I just wait since it sounds like the medals are still being fixed?
