I think that tweet was posted alongside the attack sound effect. I always thought the implication was that the new boss hinted at by the sounds has an attack like napalm zombies. It's attack is so devastating that if you hear or see it attacking you it is already too late. You are DEAD! *dramatic music*

I will stand by the idea that this is a boss zombie in the sounds. It seems the most likely to me.
