i might not buy it simply because the song is in the game, but i'm saying, if i see on youtube there's a new song by Avenged Sevenfold, and I'm a huge A7X fan, i'm brought in by the music, but then i see gameplay footage from the video and maybe i think it looks cool enough to buy. same reason they have athletes endorse products. marketing 101. just so happens A7X are huge CoD fans so its a natural fit for them

I was just saying that I wanted Elena more than A7X. :|

I'm not surprised they released the A7X song first. The tradition with Black Ops is that no one heard the Elena songs until the map's release. I'm assuming that the Elena song is gonna be on the big map with the bus (since that will probably have our original characters) and the A7X song will be on Nuketown or some on-disc extra map (where we probably won't have the original characters).

It has become a theme in the story that Richtofen's point of view is sung by Avenged Sevenfold, while Samantha is sung by Elena. Seems straightforward enough really.

The song is as much a part of the story as the zombies we fight.

I have always enjoyed a7x. Specially the last 2 zombie songs nightmare and not ready to die were simply classic. I hope this is not part of zombies EE song. Otherwise I are disappoint.

I really liked how they included Nightmare in Moon just for fun. Was a nice touch.

Anyway, I'd be good with either this song or an Elena song as the EE, I'd just like the A7X one "a little" better. ;)

Its a good song. If it is for zombies which it more than likely is, it is a great fit.

However those of you who are saying A7X are Richtofen's point of view, the only parts that I can even consider Richtofen's PoV are the growls.

The rest of it seems like it'd be the other's the ones trying to kill the zombies. Searching Endlessly and fighting til they are free? Pretty sure that's not Richtofen. It could be the PoV of the zombies, they are being controlled by Richtofen to search for the ones trying to kill Richtofen, and they are continually fighting until they die(free).

It could also be the point of whoever we control, Sam and the others or if we get a new set of characters.

I must say that after listening to the song I find myself, honestly, disappointed.

Not saying it's a bad song. It's just not Avenged Sevenfold good. It's not "Not Ready to Die" good. If Avenged does another song for zombies, then I hope it's not this one. Doesn't sound dark enough.

That being said, I'd be quite happy if this were just a song for the campaign. Sounds like something they'd play in the credits.

I think it is possible that we will see two songs in each map from now on as it was in Moon.

Kevin & Elena will return, I have no doubt in my mind about that. (Keep an eye on their youtube channels & twitter accounts)

I really like A7X they blew me away with nightmare. This new piece is not quite nightmare, but it does a good job at getting me pumped for BOII Zombies.

I just want to remind everyone that Nightmare was not created for Zombies, but instead was made far prior to the release of Moon. It is simply an Easter Egg and does not reflect the Zombies canon in any way. I'm not implying anything, just want to throw this out there.
