Dog rounds?

I just got a dog round after 5 rounds not 4 :? does that mean after you get to a quite high round they strat coming after 5 rounds? I noticed on ascension the monkeys did this too. Please help as I don't want to try and recycle mid round and die if I will get a maxy next round.

I always thought Dog rounds were either 4 or 5. It is not fixed. I have not done high rounds on most maps except ascension but until round 50 yea I have seen a variation of 4 and 5 rounds between boss rounds.

This is from Duckcall00's "Charts" post in General Map discussion on this forum. (A very useful read if you have time)

"The first dog round will randomly occur between Round 5 and 7. The next dog round is 4 to 6 rounds afterwards, as are all subsequent dog rounds."
