Black ops 2 Zombies Ranking System Theory

Listen up on my theory of how I think the zombies ranking system is going down.

(Quick note) *This may be wrong or it may be right. But to me, it explains a lot of things I've heard from people.*

First things first, I've heard from people that they want to rank up. I myself would love to rank up also. Other players tell me they have got to round 30+ and only went down at the end but still haven't ranked up. I myself am stuck at the blue eyed skull with a machete behind it. I've been getting to rounds 25+ every match and still haven't seen a changed in the emblem or a change in my 5 tally marks. People tell me that they skipped a day playing zombies. This somehow caused their rank to drop down.

My theory is that every person is put into one big leader board with an average of all their stats combined to show a rank. This rank will give you a certain emblem depending on which percentile you rank in. Thus dropping your rank if players pass you up in rank.

Example: Top 5% get a blue eyed skull with shotguns. True? This is like the COD: Elite clan operations from MW3.

This is my theory on how the ranking system works. If you can find a way to disprove my theory, then go ahead a find a better way. I just want to know how the system works. Thank you for reading.

You gain EXP for your rank, not just based on rounds, but also stats. Both come into account when trying to rank up. Now whether it's a glitch or a bug I don't know, but it seems that many people are good on both of these and they still don't rank up.

I've yet to get to the Dual-Shotgun Blue-Eyed Skull, but is that the maximum one or what?

It will most likely be the most easiest system. The person with the most downs ranks up higher...Something dumb like that.
