How exactly do you use the Electric Trap anyway

So I've tried powering it.. a few zombies run up to it and destroy it while it's on. Doesn't seem to affect any of them. Tried setting it up in narrow routes so zombies have to come near it.

Is this thing useless or what? I figured since it had a tesla coil it'd have a wunderwaffe effect on nearby zombies..

but nada.

Yeah, seems the more zombies I get up in it, the faster it gets destroyed. I lured a train into one my team set in the jugg doorway tonight, and their colective attacks instantly destroyed it WHILE it was on. It didn't do squat :/

I haven't found an effective way to use to trap yet. I've tried, but it just seems useless as of right now. Your best bet though is to try putting it in a doorway because that is where the regular traps usually are.

It isn't really effective against a swarm, but one game me and Sly played, we found a good use for it. Me and another player camped the Underground Hallway, I placed a Electric Barrier(Trap)lengthwise in the hallway a few steps before the right turn to the P'a'P Machine and had a turrent aswell. It held up pretty good considering there wasn't a lot of Zombies coming down the steps & through the Window near the steps.

There is one Idea I have yet to try. Lengthwise, the Electric Barrier is the same length as a Window. Maybe place against the window? Perhaps it will Kill them before they fully climb through the Window.

Just in case somepeople dont know this...you have to have a power source for the trap and the turret to work. We built all four items in a game and took them all to the m16 area in the tunnel. From front to back we had...

Elecetric Trap

Turret

Shield

Turbine

Player

And my buddy had the same setup on the other end with the M16 inbetween us. This was very effective for awhile with minimum effort on our part. Just have to keep the zombies from bunching up infront.
