Help needed - Tower of Babble

I read online that this easteregg can be done with 2 people. As I kept failing with 4 people, I got one friend to attempt the esateregg.

First, we played a few rounds normally and deposited cash in the bank. Then, on the easter egg run, we went to the bank on round 1 and got quite alot of cash. Then we went for the mystery box and got EMP grenades after 3 tries. We then went to the pylon or sprie on Round 1, and waited for the lightning to be above the pylon and ended the round. The electric zombie didnt spawn. However, we waited again and he did eventually spawn at round 4, where it was still easy with our mystery box weapons. When we saw him, we placed 2 turbines at the tower and when he came, EMP'd him and he just flew to the top of the tower.

Then, we went to place 2 turbines at the green lights and heard this:

"You have done well. Now activate the Spires, power. Are you circumcised? Oh hold on."

After that, we didnt get the achievement and soon got cornered and died.

Do we have to lead the Denizens to the lights before putting the turbines down? Or what did we do wrong?
