Zombies Table-top Board Game?!

After playing some board games at a gaming store last weekend, it occurred to me that there should be an official Call of Duty: Zombies table-top board/card game.

It would be 2-4+ player co-op, with waves of zombies, likely dice for kills, point accumulation, perk and weapon buying, downs and revives, and pack a punching. The goal would be just to simply see how many waves you could get through together.

I looked to see if there were similar games to this idea (co-op survival though waves with upgrades), and there are. The best example might be Ghost Stories: http://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/37046/ghost-stories

And there have been other popular video game franchises that have been converted to table top games, like Civilization, Bioshock, Age of Empires, Gears of War, and Doom.

So, does this exist, and if not, is it in the works, and if not, why not, and if not, then it should be!

If it did exist, it would probably be expensive. The only reason I can't say for sure that I'd buy it is because I'm not sure if anyone I know would ever play it with me... :(

Unless of course it came with a way to play in solo mode

Revisiting this from last year to see if any new members have come across anything.  Most new table top games are expensive anyway, in the $50-70 range, so I would expect this to be similar (if it existed).

There's some zombies one out there but mostly you're going to have to find some pretty cool shops.  I do game nights like once every month where we play different board games like world infections etc and you have to beat the spread, pretty fun and cooperative play.  Friend picked up an actual zombie board game we will try out this weekend hopefully.  Cards of humanity is a fun one to play on the side though while waiting for a purchase to be shipped ;)
