Turbines on top of bus

I was playing tranzit last night with a few randoms , and we were going setting up the packa punch so I went back to the depot to get a fresh turbine . I placed the one I had on the top of the bus to waste, I Waited and waited and it just seemed to be taken a long time to waste so I jumped back on the bus frustrated . By the time I got to the diner the turbine had stopped but within 10 seconds it was working again .( FYI the bus was moving when it turn on , so I was thinking that the wind moving through the propellers recharged it ?) the turbine did this the whole game and I used this same turbine to open packa punch ?? Has this happened to anyone before ?i

No it has not happened to me, but how does wind power it if the bus is going less than like...20 mph? Possibly 10 mph? I don't see that being a logical explanation. but then it is fast enough to out run full sprinting zombies so then again I could be wrong.

This actually makes sense. The turbine runs and distributes wind power, and putting it on top of the bus while it's moving would logically recharge it because of the wind. I'll need to run some experiments myself, but nice find ;)

I don't think it has to do with it being on the bus. If you set it down and it's not near anything to power, it will last for a really long time. I've dropped them to pick up the zombie shield while I ran trains at the diner, and 5 rounds later they'll still be going strong.

What I find interesting is that it made it from the bus station to the diner at all on top of the bus. It must just clip right through the beams in the tunnel... because if you or a zombie is on the roof in the tunnel, the beams will knock you off.
