How Marlton got into Tranzit?!

So last night I was playing Tranzit and as we all do, I looked for stuff that could be relevant to the storyline. So I ran around the corner to the navcard, but stopped as I saw something on the corner of my eye. On the window where the zombies come out of (turn left when opening the first door to see it), there is a sign that reads "Shelter". Most of us know by now that Marlton's voice can be heard from Nuketown by knifing the shelter at the beginning of the round, but what if the shelter in Tranzit and Nuketown are somehow connected??? Thoughts?

I don't know, man...why would there be a shelter leading from a regular bus terminal to a secret nuclear testing site? That sounds kinda dangerous to regular people, even without the zombies. :(

Didn't one of our bright-minds make some kind of topic relating to how the whole crew ended up in Hanford? It was assumed that the same bus that has taken our crew to Green Run is the same bus that supposedly drove through America and picked up every individual along the way. Henceforth, how Marlton escaped from Nuketown to Green Run. Of course I can't find the topic since that was sometime in late November (God forbid I search through endless pages trying to find that topic :( ).

I am sure you were not refering to me, but here is a thread I made on the bus, which includes the info on where the bus has probably been before Green Run.

Maybe he was the one who programmed the bus?

I came up with an idea of him controlling the bus when the trailer came out, but it seems highly unlikely, otherwise we'd get some clearer clues on it.

I've got a hard time thinking that the facilities are connected, I mean that's a LONG way. I wouldn't be surprised if that Shelter sign was present in case of a nuclear leak or something, but nonetheless it's odd. It could be related to the Nuketown shelter, but directly connected seems unlikely to me.

how everyone got into tranzit would be a better question...

since you begin the game with these 3 people in this locked room...

now what i think : since marlton and russman talk like like they already know each other lets assume they came from the bus, maybe from nuketown, and looking for somebody in the bus depot they found the two others, when the doors closed due to lack of power.

the girl, i don't know, maybe coming from the town looking for help ? of from the farm according to the theories about her clothes...

the paranoid/schyzophrenic and probably homeless guy, to me, could have been found by the others sleeping at the depot (the station speakers says it is forbidden to sleep on the public sits, we can guess it has already happened someone sleeping here).

my question is : has any of these characters lived in the area before the zombies came out ? so they might now about somethings that could have been here before, hidden stuff or whatever.

Wrong wrong wrong. Marlton is from Nuketown. Russman and Misty know each other. Schulinger is a conspiracy freak so anything he says might be truth or lies, we need to be careful about him. Misty seems to recognize "The Farm" or at least it reminds her of a different farm. Marlton as well as other characters seem to have seen "The Town" before.

This seems highly unlikely because of the relations several characters have with eachother: Marlton seems to dislike Russman, Mistly dislikes Stuhlinger (Samuel) and Misty seems to have feelings for Marlton. (all of this seems fairly obvious when going through all of the characters' quotes) This makes me believe they've all arrived at the Bus Depot together and they've been together for atleast some time before Tranzit. I have no idea for how long or how they met though.

The characters all seemed to have known each other prior to Green Run, but they don't really seem like a group of friends. More like a group of fellow survivors that has set aside their differences to survive as a team, much like our original crew. Yet they have developed opinions about each other: Misty and Stuhlinger dislike each other, Marlton and Russman dislike each other, and Marlton seems to have feelings for Misty, who kind of likes him but from the looks of it she's got him friendzoned...

They defintely knew each other before we meet them. Something happened between Nuketown and Green Run where they all met each other. What that is? We'll leave that to our dedicated theorists ;)

I have a hard time believing that anyone knew anyone before this happened. I personally believe that they all stumbled upon each other the same way the original characters did. If anything, Marlton and Misty knew each other and Stuhlinger and Russman knew each other since each set of two is fond of the other, unlike the original four liking and disliking any random order of people. But again, I do t think that anyone knew anyone before the missiles hit. A lot of people seem to think otherwise though, am I missing something?
