Interesting result emp and monkey bombs

So yesterday I decided to test something out that I have never heard anyone suggest and something interesting happened. I don't know if this is relevant to the easter egg or some glitch. I have heard everyone suggesting to emp different things but I have never heard anyone try to emp a monkey bomb so I thought I would try that out.

My friend got monkey bombs and I got emps it was round 2 or 3 and we left 1 zombie to test this out. So we went to town and my friend threw a monkey bomb in the corner in the jug room and I emped it before it exploded and something weird happened. The monkey bomb did not kill the zombie and instead he started walking around town, slowly, ignoring both of use. We didn't sprint or shoot thinking this would wake him up. After about 2 minutes of him wondering around town I got bored and shot him in the head.

I have never heard of this happening so I wanted to let people know in case it was something to do with the EE. It was in a 2 player custom game and of course the game didn't appear in my recent games but I figured this would be easy enough to replicate if anyone wanted to test it. I can try later to get a video later but I won't be able to try for at least 5 hours. I tried to recreate in again in the game about two rounds later and it didn't work. Maybe I got the timing off the second time.

If anyone tries this let me know if you can get it to work. Also sorry for the long post.

That effect is from the emp grenade, it causes the zombies to go to that sleep like dummy state. if you dont touch them or sprint or shoot near them they can stay that way for as long as you like. just keep someone near him so he wont respawn

But whenever I just emp a zombie he stays still and doesn't move. Do they sometimes walk around the map? He started at jugg room walked down the stairs and around to where the box spawns in alley and starting walking somewhere else before I shot him.

I was pretty sure that i've had shamblers before, but thought that they were uncommon, maybe a monkey was up during the emp somewhere else for me? it can reach from the top of the bar to the PaP

I've tossed an EMP at a single Zombie once, and it simply walk away, this was at the Diner and it went the direction the bus goes to The Farm. You know, maybe there is something to this.

EMPd zombies walk into the direction they look very slowly.
