Perhaps a way to test the commitment theory?

First time posting here although I have been following Zombies since WAW and was on the activision forums years ago. I thought about the theory of having to commit to one side and I thought how it would take a while to actually prove. So what I was thinking, although it may be cheating, is to fast forward time on the playstation/xbox.

To be more specific, Once u complete a side of the EE, go to the setting and set the date forward. I would suggest doing it slowly such as day by day instead of skipping a few weeks.

Is it the quality or quantity you play? If its quantity, then adjusting the time on the console would allow u to fool the game that you are progressing.

Unless of course its based on the amount of time you spend ingame/ how many times you've played, not based on a date.

Its based on ingame.. Just like the multiplayer can track the zombie side can track.
