Transition to night?

The video below shows someone going under the map and showing what seems to be the moon. Do you think there could possibly be a way to make the transition to night? They did it in Shangri-la remember.

It looks like the Moon, but not as much as a spectacle as the one in Shangri-La. When think of a possible "transition", I still think of the billboard in the Tunnel that says DAY /2 M E. I honestly can't think of what might transition the day - night, since playing in-game for a few hours do not seem to trigger it. But with Shangri-La, you were creating the night due to time travel (which is very relevant in the storyline, so there's no exception for someone to say that time travel is impossible).
