Zombies, Questions, Statements. Possibly Relevant.

Been playing Zombs since release date, but mostly been avoiding online info and just playing. Here are some statements. A few questions. Some hatred. Some love. Maybe some laughter. And honestly a lot of fun, but it has not been all fun. And most of all ... there is a lot of this game I still have not done or understand. So I will be dealing with what I am comfortable in commenting on for the most part. And feel free for to make any comments, suggestions or ideas.

1. Still trying to understand the ranking system. Been reading about it here. Seems to have a lot of pluses. We need to depend on knowing what quality of player is in the lobby by what their picture is. Does it make sense? In a visual way it does. But then you need to understand what the visual means. And we are all looking for that ranking about the player and that is simply not there. And not having it there is dumb. As it is just another number. And in a world filled with too many pictures it was not all that necessary to do this. I love all the extra stats, but immediately felt dumb not being able to find the ranking anywhere.

--- no final say on this. anyone's opinion would be highly appreciated.

2 Playing Transzit first as most everyone did. It was first on the list. This is truly something different. And that I most loudly appreciate. Adding to the overall storyline (which I have not got to learning) and making it a huge traveling wonder. It is also (like Moon) a startling and unsettling beginning to a sequel game. The confusion was apparent and personal. Ride the bus. Miss the bus. Lose the bus.

Chase the f'ing bus. Get run over by the f'ing bus. Die in the f'ing bus. Get f'ing cornered by the f'ing bus when it leaves. Get knocked the f off the mf'ing top of the bus.

--- f the f'ing bus all to f'ing heck. and all the f'ing honking all the time, makes me hear it real world way too often. Way too often.

SMILES :)

*bus honks again*

:(

3. Turned speed up to 9. Went from 5 to 7 to 9. May go higher. My son plays at 14. (he is 11 years old) Has helped considerable and hurt very rarely. The speed almost always aides in looking around and makes the game controls seems natural and safer.

--- oh yeah. we got other 14's? And what are some other speeds?

4. Seen all the non-wonder guns. (ain't seen them) And they seem mostly worse. The RPD and Hammer are superb. And the Raygun seems and sounds even better. Some are simply awful. The War Machine is ... worse than awful. But apparently it upgrades real good. It lights up the place and makes the fighting interesting. Will be trying it later today.

... waiting for Superhands to come in and tell me he got to round 65 with a War Machine and a non-PAP'd M1911. while not looking.at the monitor. at all.

5.This pre-ranking hooey. I liked having lobbies with a wide mix of players. And in this day and age if someone cannot find lobbies, websites or some local affiliate to find fellow players for COD Zombs than they should just lie on the side of the road with the other pieces of roadkill. Still figuring out the ranking system and I am starting to suspect that I may never get to a higher level. Not sure yet, but all that dying early seems permanent. Like it is never allowed to happen or I supposed to kill the next 50,000 zombs in a row. And that sucks. I will never Random with some players. And this has probable helped lead to so many little pansies dying the first time and drug fleeing the scene of the crime immediately.

"I cannot ruin my 500 K/D with a down in round 16."

---This is an improvement? I cannot see how.

6. The in-game mechanics seem very similar. With the Black Ops engine we get all these new stats available. Cool. But then I start to notice the issues / personality are also still in the game. Is this a good thing?

-extra long zomb arms

-double slapped

-wind milling zombs

-stuck on dumb things

-headless not falling down slapping zombs

-slapped and zomb did not move

---Position? Mostly in favour. This is the character of the game. Remove it and trust losing what gave the game its appeal. Could it have been cleaned / fixed? Of course. They chose not to. I will live with it. It could be true. Just odd to still be complaining about almost exactly the same things on a new game.

7. I will call them action buttons. When you press on something to pick up a turbine, buy ammo, log into a new game with others, etc. WHAT? Seriously? They still / newly work like they are buried in mud.

*picks up turbine* NO

*Picks up turbine* NO

*picks up tur ...

THIS GAME IS NOT CALLED "Picks up Turbine."

I want to kill Zombs, Buy ammo. Load into a new game. Open the bus door. With "1" button click.

---dumbass

8. The Joy Of Bus Terminal. The simple truth of no perks. A lotta zombs. Stay alive. It proved to be the early favorite. And the one I had played the most over the first few weeks. It was simple, but a reminder of Nacht. Make a mistake and die. On both multi and solo. And it was my first actual worldwidee score on Zombs. Got a 17 and it stands at number 3448 in the world. I was floored to see my name next to only a 4 digit ranking. I know, I know. It is petty cash in the rounds players here are doing. But we all need those moments of success after the often repeated failures. And I know I can go higher. Significantly so.

---pure and beautiful

9. So teleporting is still being explored. Seeing good and bad. Thinking 4 lights go to 4 other lights one way. Easy way to power. Still exploring it. Any suggestions or explanations would be cool. Opinion of it?

Really? You want me to intentionally strap a midget Gollum on the top of my head while I "Run. Away. From. It." So I can build a teleporter.

NO. This looks stupid. Is stupid. I kill zombies. Strap on badass guns. Plan strategy. Run them down. Try to make them cry. How in God's name is making a hat out of some flying, ugly Devil's cherub and running around with it supposed to be cool?

---it's really not. really. you could have done this better. if not for the initial playing and the fog we just would have looked at them and shot them to pieces.

10. I want to thank Treyarch. For the variety here. All 3 multi maps are different. And must be played like that to gain the best advantage. Town, Terminal and Farm all have their differences. Tranzit is still a work in progress and we'll see if expansion packs add to its size. Grief is interesting. But slow and it is hard to collect perks with 8 players. Still looking at it.

---I finally found my legs with the game going back to multi on Terminal and Farm. From there going to Grief offered some humour and fun. Tranzit is improving. Getting used to the game. And running those trains.

***Thanks to all those threads from last year. And this great site. the video's of Tom, Super, Chopper. And so many others. The articles put together by Edjoocated. Glad to be here.
