when is Zombies new content release date?

Ascension was revealed about this time in 2011, so I would say any day now you can expect info....or not (that much), knowing how Treyarch is very secretive with Zombie DLC maps.

I would say mid January it is usually 90 after release the first content drops.

Well, if we want to go by history, First Strike for BO1 was announced ~Dec. 22 on Major Nelson's podcast. It cam out in February, and seeing this BO2 will also have 4 map packs I think we could see them following the roughly a similar time frame to the Black Ops 1 DLC.

I can't wait to see what Treyarch do this time! I think they'll make another 'TranZit' in another part of the world (hence the globe as you select a map to play on). As for the release, I can only see it coming shortly after the New Year, just like First Strike for the original Black Ops (it was released late January for Xbox). Then they'll probably release a DLC every two-three months like every other Call of Duty! So expect some news on the first DLC soon! :D

The message of the day (playing multiplayer) has stated DLC is coming some time in January. Not sure if they'll start delivering DLC in small chunks or all at once. But unfortunately I don't think we'll see anything till after the New Year. :?

2. this would be really easy for them if they got a lot of the coding from the CoD4 level
