Richtofen easter egg (my thoughts)

So first, I want to say that I haven't completed either of the easter eggs n'or have I started them, so please correct me if I make a mistake related to the easter egg or the story in general.

Richtofen orders you to heat up the spire, with the jet engine. He wants you to make the tower reach an extreme temperature. Now, could he be trying to STOP Maxis from making these spires around the world ? I clearly see Richtofen being scared of Maxis's plan, being afraid of the outcome of having multiple spires working. He also orders you to keep the power on.. In other words, he doesn't want Maxis to be able to make his "spires".

Also, in the TV in Farm, I heard a survivor saying something along the lines of :

"Those of us who have not chosen either side have been hunted by both sides"

This could mean that Maxis has some control in Earth. With all this in mind, I can see why the zombies have collars. Maxis tried to control as most zombies as he could in order to either:

A: Stop Richtofen in his plam for World Domination by controlling more zombies than him and continue on with the Spires.

B: "Humanfy" the zombies, a bit like the VR-11 in CotD and proceed by repopulating the Earth.

The main reason why I made this thread was so that we could try and decipher WHY Maxis is trying so hard to stop Richtofen after destroying the Earth. It would be nearly impossible to repopulate the Earth in the planet's current condition, which leads me to believe : If Maxis truly tries to rebuild Humanity, he'll to go to another planet: Mars.

That's it, hope you actually read through this monster, I tried to keep it as brief as I possibly could. I'll add/remove information as I learn more and more about both sides of the Easter Egg.

Zombies wear collars?

I think Richtofen is trying to power the spires in order to build a device to pull the moon closer to Earth.. Thus he can return.

And to your theory, that's is AWESOME, I never thought about that before :)

I think it's competing devices...almost a test of whose got the best tower.

They were originally master and apprentice, so now they're competing. I don't think Richtofen is stopping maxis, I think he is gaining influence. Somehow these towers, no matter whose side you take, will determine ultimate control for some similar device, it's just a matter of who.

As for power on or off, I think it only matters in hearing maxis or not.
