zomb_slayer17 Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 I have a question. Me and my friend got into a lobby with one random person. After the first 6-7 rounds the kid left, so it was just me and my friend. We made it to round 28 but it didnt count towards the leaderboards. If someone can tell me why or how I can play with just my friend that would be awesome. Because custom match doesn't count towards the leaderboards we want to know how do do like a private match. Thanks .
Technicuddle Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 You can not do a private match... Thanks Treyarch. You'll just have to go into matchmaking. Not ready up, then wait for the other two people to leave. Then ready up as fast as you can and hope that other people don't join before the game starts. So basically you have to be an asshole with allot of luck. If you're with 4 people you won't have to do all that obviously. Just got into normal matchmaking and then all ready up.
perfectlemonade Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 Whenever a player leaves the match, the leaderboard freezes at that round. This was implemented with good intentions, but it doesn't really work in practice. Yeah... And as for private matches? There are none. Go figure. -_-
Administrators InfestLithium Posted December 28, 2012 Administrators Posted December 28, 2012 There is a way to do private match. It's more of a system glitch, but it requires you to have a secondary controller on standby. Custom games are the closest things to private games.
Kill_All_Monkeys Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 Have both of you pull up a split-screen guest player, ready up, and then back out of the guest accounts with like 1 or 2 seconds left. Works almost every time.
