Nemesis_96 Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 While playing through campaign, I notice that while playing as David Mason you hear weird voices whispering. Specifically, every time you recover from being red screened and only as David Mason. I don't know if this is meant to be hinting at the mind control, continuing down the generations or just a sond effect. Food for thought! Nemesis out.
bbobs2 Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 Definitely can hear something when you heal but I also hear something similar when you get revived on zombies, I do like the theory on mind control though, I mean you never know what's really happened since Black Ops 1.
Administrators InfestLithium Posted December 29, 2012 Administrators Posted December 29, 2012 I just assumed that it's only heavy breathing. Soft, yet heavy and airy breathing really. Even if it were whispers, I don't exactly think mind control is hereditary thing. David Mason is not hearing numbers in any way shape or form. But if it were whispers, perhaps it would be based off the memory where Raul Menendez holds him hostage.
Moderators Lenne Posted December 29, 2012 Moderators Posted December 29, 2012 Really? I have only noticed some really awkward sounds when recovering from a red screen but no voices.
Nemesis_96 Posted December 29, 2012 Author Posted December 29, 2012 Aha! Yes, Lithuim you're probably right with voices from his experiences with Menedez. lenne, they're not so much voices as distorte whisperings... Kinda.. Hard to describe lol
tom_green_day Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 Hasn't this happened on any CoD game in recent years? Scratch that, on loads of FPS games? It's happening to me on FC3 this second, and I seem to remember it from Mass Effect 3 too. I think it's just used to imply that the person is taking damage, hearing is going, concussed etc.
